Jejus, that wasn't meant to offend you! 😲 aren't you familiar with the latest troll jokes? I'm sure you've read/seen them on facebook at least. That pic was simply an e-expression of disbelief. Instead of using regular IF emoticons, I used that pic.

The mod has removed it too, can everyone please stop taking everything so damn seriously? šŸ˜†

Here you go [Key word: FUNNY]

I do kind of agree. Katrina was getting a royal snub on the show. The contestants were only dancing on Salman's songs. I really wonder whyšŸ˜•

At least when they came on Indian Idol. 2 out of 5 singers sang Katrina's songs.
Its not even that. Even when Mohena came to hug Salman or when Avneet came, they didnt really care for Katrina. I think Salman even told Avneet to say hi to Katrina and she didnt even hug or shake her hand ...Avneet just smiled and walked away.
I guess they might be scared of her, or maybe she doesnt like hugging people lol. She does give off a snobbish vibe. She does not seem friendly either. I first noticed that when she came on Dus Ka Dum with Neil for New York Promotions. Although she is a lot LESS cold now.
I have a hard time reading her. She doesnt "seem" like a show-offer or that she thinks that she is the queen of the world but there is def something about her that makes her unapproachable. Its also the way she speaks, it sometimes seems like shes talking down to people. I
She remind me of the old Aishwarya Rai. Remember when Aishwarya used to be so cold and rude in her interviews and her facial expressions. Katrina is giving me that same vibe.
I really dont know what the story is. šŸ˜•

I love this topic šŸ˜† I don't understand why people are taking this topic or even the Bharti vs Katrina bit in the show itself seriously. It's all jokes and sarcasm šŸ˜† But anyways Bharti over Kat anyday for me seriously. šŸ˜†
Off-screen Katrina Kaif is one of the most boring celebs. She has no sense of humor, neither can she take a joke that well nor can she make one. Essentially, she has no personality on the reality shows (or even in general) to get people interested, strictly my opinion. She does give off a stand-offish and cold vibe. This isn't the place to post the video, but there was this Meet-and-Greet that Imran, Katrina, and Ali Zafar did for MBKD...and she was very cold thorughout it, making it more than obvious that she did not want to be there. There was a MASSIVE difference in the way Imran interacted with the fans who'd been waiting for long to meet them, and the way Katrina did.
I was a bit surprised that they didn't really have any of the guys hit on Katrina thoguh. At least, this happens in all shows reality shows...male contestants hit on the female star there.

I don't usually get overly worked up or defensive about topics on IF forums but having read this topic and being a english born and bred asian i have to say the topic posters comment about the English language not having any humour or trying to insinuate that Katrina being english and an english speaker lacks personality or humour is a little out of order.

Lets not forget that many of you probably watch english/american tv shows such as friends i'd say thats 99% in an english language and i'm pretty sure you guys laugh at it or when you see english stars conduct interviews they have a laugh.

With Katrina she always gets the hard end of the stick for her language and lack of Hindi despite her working really hard and putting in the effort to learn it and learn to dance and other requirements for a hindi actress.

Don't forget she has to put up with a lot of cold vibes from her contemporaries who love to bitch and back bite about her yet she remains civil and diplomatic when it comes to talking about any of her peers. That is something you get from being english and or growing up in a westernised society.

Because of this many may term her as boring, but I've seen her in interviews, on other reality shows and also behind the scene segments where she's happily joking and having a laugh with her costars.

Don't forget that most of the interviews that are conducted are done by the most dumbest hosts who as the most stupidest questions which are often repetitive.

As a fellow english citizen I admire Katrina for what she's achieved and honestly hats off to her for putting up with some of the stuff she has had to endure and doing it gracefully.

It's probably one of the reasons why someone like Salman is still friends with her and holds a special place for her because he too isn't a fake person like most of the bollywood fraternity.

As for the belly dancing segment, Katrina was a sport for dancing with Bharti and off course she knew Bharti would be adjudged as the 'better' dancer but she still went along with it.

I'm sorry to say but it seems some asian fans still have backward or narrow minded mentality, even though you guys are the first to shout and cry when you aren't accepted in western society or culture or use the 'racist' card if someone makes fun off your accents and way of life.

The same can be said of people making fun or being cold towards someone like Katrina Kaif who despite being english has taken the time and effort to learn Hindi and learn about the Indian culture without being disrespectful.

This is officially the biggest 'Kuch bhi?!?!?!' reply on the whole topic. šŸ¤”

You think I'm claiming that Kat lacks sense of humor because she's english (which she isn't, btw) and can't speak hindi? Excuse me while I ROFL . If you read my topic carefully, you'll notice that I mentioned that sense of humor is something that exists in the english language too, but Kat simply does not have it. No matter if she's english, american, arabic, chinese, korean etc, whatever.

@Red: If you think that's her actual personality, then I'm sorry to say my friend that you need a blaring reality check. Katrina's off-screen behavior during interviews, promotions etc is simply a well choreographed PR mechanism to maintain a certain 'seedhi-saadhi, docile and innocent' image that the Indian audiences happily lap up. Not to mention her silence also contributes to the intrigue that already surrounds her.

@Blue: Now that's what I call an actual racist remark. I should probably report your post for this sentence alone. You mean to say that Indian actresses are all bi****s because they were born and brought up in India while Kat is holier-than-thou because she was brought up in a western society.

What are you doing on 'India-Forums' again?

If she's working so hard to 'fit-in' here in Bollywood, then why in the name of Merlin's soggy wet pants doesn't she know how to converse in Hindi after 9+ years? šŸ˜• Like I said before, I personally know foreigners who have been in India for less than a year and speak impeccable Hindi. Now that's what I call complete acceptance of a culture. They learnt our language without any inhibitions, and probably know more about Hindi than Indians themselves. But Kat? She's still stuck somewhere in the middle of Europe šŸ˜• I feel she hasn't completely accepted 'India as a whole'. She's here to make money (she's pretty darn clear about that) and she's doing that by shaking her booty in sheila and chikni and by playing a flowerpot to A-listers in all films. So stop making her sound like she's some kind of a devi of hard work and determination.

Kat is still friends with Salman because he is the one who launched her in this Industry and she probably wouldn't even be here had he not hauled her out of her pit. She's smart and she knows that alienating herself from him would definitely cost her something if not everything.

@Green: Excuse me, but Kat isn't doing any ehsaan on bollywood by 'taking time out to learn Hindi and act in our films'. She started doing it because it was a necessity and she continues to do it because it fetches her more moolah than she could have ever earned in the whole of Europe.

I have no idea why this topic has suddenly become more about Kat's character and 'hard-work', when it was supposed to be about how hilarious the scene was and how much Bharti overshadowed Kat. I should probably put up a disclaimer saying that only the ones who understand humor in every language should reply. Otherwise steer clear.
