It is not Mallika's fault. Where will Ashu draw the line? If M is going to be a single mom then his sympathy will be with the child and where is the end? Is it going to be a life long problem for Nidhi?

That is for the couple to decide...a line has to be drawn somewhere...where is something they need to decide...but I don't think Mallika is above blame in any case...you tell a friend that you are bleeding and you expect him not to rush to your side...when you know said friend has an overactive sense of honour...you call him at night and tell him your husband is threatening to kill you and you expect him no to react...you give him a sob story on how you are all alone with a high risk pregnancy and you expect him not to react...Mallika knows very well Ashutosh's sense of honour is his greatest weakness and she is tapping it just fine!

If a man is to be held guilty for his humaneness and his sense of honour, and risking his own marital happiness even to help the enemy, then yes, Ashutosh ought to be hanged for sure! But let us be clear what his crimes are!

Redemption has already started at the cost of Ashu and Nidhi. Already we feel Mallika has no fault. She tries to be on her own except on one occasion. And a stupidity like Nidhi having no time for hubby because she is busy with work is shown AS if a career woman is to blamed for a husband's idiotic behaviour. Mallika is redeemed. She does'nt cling to A it's viceversa

@sujatha...i cannot help but wonder that mallika is using this child and her condition to once again draw ashutosh closer...in all this she has not even once mentioned or asked about nidhi...all she chants is ashutosh ashutosh ...and slightest remorse for her deeds.???

nopes not absolving ashutosh of his share of errors ...he needs to draw a line ..KPjee must ask a woman around him if she was in nidhi's place and this was what is happening ..will she tolerate a mallika in her life all the time...maybe he will first hand get a women's pov...in no era,or world or culture will a wife tolerate another woman in her personal space...whatever the relationship maybe...friendship is not something that is glorified beyond logic and sense...and KP JEE READ...U CANNOT BE CLOSE FRIENDS WITH A WOMAN WHO HAS SPEND LOVING YOU 12 YEARS AND YOU ARE NOT GOING TO LOVE HER BACK...YOU GIVE HER THE SPACE TO MOVE ON IN LIFE...NOT TO FAN HER DESIRE OR DREAM OF U LOVING HER SOMEDAY...THIS IS WHAT A TRUE FRIEND DOES... sorry for the capss..but need it to be loud and clear...when he keeps harping about friendship

Except on Jagan's threat what was the need for A to rush there / she said it is only spotting and as a doctor she said it is not serious. Then what is the problem. If M is a normal friend I don't blame him. Why this camaraderie with the woman who harmed your so called beloved. Where is his inner conflict?

Sajani, This is what I am saying,...I can't help getting the feeling that Mallika is using her baby as a bait this time...I feel sickened to write this but that is how it seems...

I would not absolve Ashutosh either...he is unable to draw the line...and he needs to find ways and means to do it...but beyond that. the accusations of emotional infidelity don't hold water..Yes, no woman would ever tolerate what Nidhi did...which was my problem in the first place...you pout when your man won't dance, won't ride horses or won't climb trees...but you will tolerate the presence of his supposedly lunatic friend in your household and put up with all her tricks...why could she not have done what she is doing now...told him that this person deserved medical care and belonged in an institution...and that she could not tolerate such an obsessive presence in her household...when she can get her way over minor things, then why could she not have put her foot down or walked out even then...this is like trying to shut the stable door after the horse has bolted..

So far as Ashutosh and Mallika are concerned, it is unhealthy obsession on the one hand and uhealthy guilt on the other...i don't find it a mature or a solid relationship from any angle!

Radhika, just look at it from his point of view...he has put her in that house...taken responsibility oif her care to some extent...what would have happened if she had bled to death or lost the child...would you not feel morally obliged to check on a pregnant woman who says she is bleeding...yes, she is a doctor but so is he...and for every ten cases that are normal. there is one that could go all wrong...

I too have a problem with the fact that there seems no inner conflcit...I reason it like this...he probably feels that he is doing whatever he is doing to protect Mallika...which was Nidhi's brief to him in the first place...she did say that Mallika should be kept out of their lives...but he believes that if she gets to know that the circumstances are extenuating, Nidhi herself will support his actions...and she will not be hurt that he has not paid heed to her words...this can be the only reason why he is behaving this way...

I am not saying he is right in his thinking...only that he is probably reasoning it this way...!
