What is holding Ali back?

Okay its really bugging me now 😡.Ali is such a guddy boybut y is he holding himself back from pooja😕?

Is it her behavior/religion/culture? what is it?

i think ali cud be da spy coz he mite be holding himself back bcoz he mite came der for a mission he mite act goody goody or innocent around pplz so noone would suspect him lol...wow diz was random but ya..but i like his character hope hes not da spy 😭

it is because of his shy nature & conservative background...pooja says about this to naina in previous episode....

well i dont think he is a spy...becuz if he was a spy he wud actually try tto make sum cadet his hostage or weapon..

well he's shown as a cultural religious shareeef desi guy...who has always been around 5 sis and a mom..and he has the notion of having immense respect for girls..

i dont think he's holding himself back but its just that he came there for a motive..and he duznt want to distract from that goal..just like naina

i mean remember how hard naina tries to hold herself back from showing emotions becuz she came there to achieve her goal..

and also as it is ali seems to be a very shy character...remember how he said ammi ne kaha tha aurton se nazrein jhuka ke baat karo..so v cant expect that typa guy to show his emotions that easily for pooja..and plus she already has a bf in his eyes..so she's paraya maal..😛 mujeh lagta hai woh us type ka larka hai jis ne humesha aurton ko do roop mein dekha behen and maa..😛..😊..so now he's getting these ajeeb feelings for pooja and he's confused...

I don't think he is the spy.He just seems so decent(hard 2 find these dayz 😉 ).

u said it. well i also think that he has this respect and barrier for women. and since he was the only guy around 6 women in his house, its hard for him to realize that girls can also be friends or girlfriends. n i guess he is holding him self back because he knows that pooja loves rohit and he doesnt have any chance with her so all he tries to do is b her friend. he will soon realize that he likes her. do u guys remember the way he went into deep thoughts when aalekh was telling him tujeh sirf ball main jana hai nikha todi na padhna hai. he was blushing. n e ways ya thats what i think
