i really really love this concept of short stories! i mean what would normally take months to happen in the telly world with a lot of unnecessary twists and turns and bad sidey characters has all been done away with and in place of that we only get to see the talented good looking young actors doing their best!

this way the plot doesnt get jeopardised and the interest is at its peak!

take shilpa and viraf's love story film for example... i loved the way they concentrated only on the couple even after they had completed so many yrs of married life. the love which lies dormant was made active again. even the fact that they had a son was not concentrated upon so much, only the ups and downs of a relationship were shown.

even yesterdays love story was so so mature. the irony that is perfection was shown so well. a lady who is PERFECT in every way cant keep a man nor a proper advertising job! the way we see ourselves is not how the world sees us is a great lesson to be learnt!

she keeps her son away frm chips keeping his health in mind but not realising that she is robbing him frm a fun filled childhood and subjecting him to ridicule by other kids.

whereas raghu on the other hand is unsuccessful carefree and a loser or so it seems but underneath its just the lack of confidence which stops him to take that extra small little step into the big bad world.

whata lovely story of two very incomplete ppl trying to make a complete living!!

i hail star plus and congratulate them in this latest endeavour! hope to see many more mature tele films.

I agree! I'm honestly so glad that teri meri love stories is on air! I mean we all get to see some refreshing stories without the part where a scene is dragged for 5 episodes because these are short stories of only one episode, we don't get the bad sidey characters who plot against the main leads. Most of these stories are so close to reality! It's really refreshing to see. Plus we get to see the work of some actors that we maybe would have never watched in another show, we get to see new pairings that we would have never imagined. I'm really enjoying these telefilms! Really hats off to star plus for bringing in such a great show for us. 👏

I totally agree! In other shows where they drag the plot line so much we end up getting bored, we get to see in one adorable episode. And a whole plus for bring back actors we haven't seen in a while like Shilpa, and KSG, and Karan Wahi! Hope to see so many more actors from past shows :D

This show makes me fall in love every week<3

very well put guys. i agree completely!!

even yesterday they showed a girl making a very tough decision of bringing up two kids on her own. the most touching part was the time she sings songs fr the kids on the bed and even her interview where she starts talking like a doctor but ends up talking like a mother!!

Yeah. Finally someone is waking up to the demands of the times.

People are just beyond bored to death by the saas-bahu sagas and the endless nonsense in the name of daily soaps.
Actually the idea itself that these daily soaps are not time bound is ridiculous. If it was already decided that a particular show would run for a given number of episodes they would certainly have a much better story to tell.
I hail the idea of these short stories even though most of them are predictable, the concept itself is fresh and welcoming. However I would be much happier if each story ran for atleast 4 episodes (2 weekends) instead of just 1.5 hr.

hi! very well written. i kinda agree and disagree with the last part of ur write up. i also want the same story to continue but not for 4 episodes but for 2 only. like one whole weekend for one story. no continuation what so ever!!

like for eg, i would have liked to see ksg anita story fr a longer time. seeing how they suceed in life as well as in their relationships.
