Then (When he didn't care what happened to her and he didn't even bother to be polite with her)
V: Aisa toh bhi ho sakta hai ki main bed pe so jaaun aur aap bathroom mein.
Now (He didn't care what the world thought, all he cared about was Maanvi)
V: *carries Maanvi in his arms to the breakfast table in front of all members of the household*
Then (When early morning calls involved taunting Viraat in every way possible)
M : Haan bolo, bhatakte hue dukhi aatma, kyun phone kiya.
Now (When early morning calls are spent on telling him how much she missed him)
M: Viraat, main tumhe bohot miss karungi.
Then (The fights were very childish, and they fought like cats and dogs)
M: Tum kya samajhte ho. Mujhe kutta bologe tum. Di, mujhe aapke birthday ke baad yahan rehna hi nahi chahiye tha. Iski toh mujhe shakal bhi nahi dekhni, yahan reh kyun gai mai?
V: Arrey, tumne pehle kyun nahi batayaa. Main tabhi chhod deta. Abhi chaloon.
Now (The fights are very romantic, and they fought like a married couple)
M: Bolne mein sharam aati hai kya, Viraat?
V: Likha na yaar.
Then (When she made fun of the girl who could have the guts to be angry Viraat's girlfriend)
M: Vaise accha hai tumhari koi girlfriend nahi hai. Pata nahi uska kya haal hota hoga, just imagine.
Now (When she saw that Viraat really would go to any length to make sure the girl he loved was never alone)
V: Maanvi, tum akeli nahi ho.
Then (When he thought she was an annoying little brat who he could never get along with, he sang Hua Kya Hua for her)
V: Kaanto ki tokri, ego se hai bhari dekho. Arrey sidhi lagti hai, par tedhi hai yeh badi dekho. Hua? Kya Hua? Kya Hua re bold deewani.Hua? Kya Hua? Kya Hua?
Now (When he knew he was soon going to bring her home as his wife, he sang Tenu Leke for her)
V: O jaana, tu awaaz ko apni, aa mila, ab meri awaaz se. Arrey haan kehde haan.
Then (When she demanded to know why he had accepted their relationship even after knowing the truth about Jeevika)
M: Yeh jaanne ke baawajut ki main kisi aur se pyaar karti hun, phir bhi shaadi ke liye haan kardi. Kyun itna chep ho rahe ho yaar. Duniya ki saari ladkiyaan mar gai hai kya.
Now (When she demanded to know the truth about why he had accepted their relationship even after knowing the truth about her cancer)
M: Kyun Viraat. Jaante the na tum. Phir kyun mujhe yeh ring pehnaai. Kyun sagai ki mujhse.
Then (When Viraat made fun of Viren lying and sneaking out to meet his love, Jeevika)
V: Pyaar ki pehli nishaani. Janaab jhut bolne lagte hain. Woh bhi apni mehbooba se milne.
M: Agar bol bhi rahe hain, to tumhe kya problem hai.
V: Meri marzi.
M : Kya meri marzi. Kya hai yeh. Bas har cheez pe ghuske ulti-sidhi hasna hai.
Now (When Viraat himself was so desperate for a few stolen moments with his love, Maanvi)
M: Tumhe jaana chahiye. Aur agar yahaan per reh gaye, toh tumhe lautaane ki zimmedaari meri nahi hai.
V: Toh kya hua. Accha hai na. Jaane do unko. Main yahin reh jaata hun. Tumhe koi problem hai.
Then (When she knew death couldn't touch her and she and Viraat would remain friends for life)
M: Hamari partnership itni asani se khatam nahi hogi partner. I'm fine. Ok partner.
Now (She could imagine herself with Viraat even 50 years later, as his soul mate even then)
M: Mere pran naath partner, I Love You like I Hate You.
Then (When she was scared of entering his room, but was unafraid of his periodic glares and muscles)
M: Aur ek baat sunlo, tumari yeh muscle-wuscle se na, main darti nahi. Samajh gae, Mr.Chep
V: Haanji, bilkul.
Now (When she was unafraid of entering his room, but his glares and muscles still didn't shut her up)
M: Viraat, phone uthalo. Incoming free hai.
V: Kaan hai mere. Sunai de raha hai mujhe.
Then (At Virika's wedding, even though she was all dolled up and looked like a princess, he still didn't consider her worth looking at)
V: Waise aaj tum sherni kam, joker zyaada lag rahi ho.
Now (Even though she wore no make-up and was hairless, her face covered in tears, he still considered her as the most beautiful woman on the planet)
V: Kyun na dekhu tumhe. Maanvi, main toh duniya ki sabse khoobsurat ladki ko dekh raha hun.
So, how was this part?
I must say, even I'm enjoying compiling these memories. Such a beautiful journey this has been, one never gets tired of running through those lanes again.
