This above was well "shot"(brilliant cinematography)as ASR stands & looks out in the garden deep in thought reflecting on the past with some very poignant painful memories. You have great lighting & play of shadows & you have the reflection of Arnav in the glass - almost as if ASR has reached the end of his journey & come to the realization & acknwledgement of past mistakes & so emerges as the balanced Arnav. This is followed by his trip then to GH for the full confession.
Truely wonderfully crafted scenes👏
Loved this scene when Arnav turns up with the most adorable look on his face. You could see that he had already planned his presence in the morning after being ordered not to turn up st the shagun. He explains that he has not forsaken any rituals as has tuned up after the completion of said ceremony. As oon as he turns up he softly looks at Khushi & whispers "HI" & then proceeds to say to the family as if its a business meeting that he has followed -reet & reevaaj - then asks to speak to Khushi alone.
Then in an ASR mannerism he goes up to her & pulls her up by her hand & proceeds to walk out with her in tow up to her room leaving behind some mixed reactions of bewilderment, amusement, anger, shock & happiness. Loved it when he said "Excuse us hum abhi aate he"
Loved it when she tells him the siginificance of Roka & exchange of rings & how this would prove that she belonged to him & he turned around & said
"Really matlab abh tum meri nahin haun" & when she straight away admits that she already is HIS. He turns on & oozes that loaded 100% pure Arnavian besotted beatific smile that speaks a 1000 love words. Only the type of look that is perfected by Barun!❤️
This is another one of those moments that shows Arnav demonstrate that despite tyrinical pressure that he will stand by his Khushi & is willing to demonstrate his love & is willing to protect her. Granted that his way of redemption may not have been fully fulfilled & executed but according to ASR standards he has come a long way. That is why Khushi has been "bought" very convincingly & why you saw her defend him to the zilt with her family!
Love the way that its all progressing & the developing relationship between them- hopefully if they set the foundation now that nothing will rock the boat. At least we know that a wedding is definately on the cards & that will be something to be seen in true Arshi stylie!!
OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES
NK- his comic timing was brilliant & his expressions & the way that he lightened the situation aginst the dictatory Dadi was very effective. " You naughty boy & Wow goos argument & when they disappear into the bedroom -is that a new rassam"
GARIMA- her fear & apprehension at being discovered whilst trying to hide it under the cloak of concern for the ritual
KHUSHI- for emerging into looking so naturally beautiful & looking amazing. Her make-up was really good- subtle & her outfit complimented her in every way. She lpayed the duaghter through to the excited fiance really well. All this time the poor girl has been constantly hurt & abused so its good that she has some happiness from the person that she needs more than life!
ARNAV- what can you say that has not already been said except that the way that he is now shaping up with defence, support & love of Khushi is truely amazing. Admittedly he still has his faults & goes off sometimes on his ASR side effect but he has come a long way...may it continue. THese Arshi moments are the best!!!
