TOI: Hinas love secret out

She is every saas' dream bahu, but actress Hina Khan, who has become a household name as Akshara of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai(YRKKH), has apparently chosen her prospective mother-in-law. Hina, as informed by her close friend, is in a relationship since the past three-and-a-half years with Neeraj Baliyan, original director of her debut and only show YRKKH.

A friend of Hina says, "Neeraj, who was initially a mentor, later a friend, finally graduated to become her lover. The two are very serious about each other and plan to get married soon. Her co-stars and Neeraj's family are also aware of the relationship. However, the actress' father is not aware of their relationship and she fears that he might not approve of it. She may have Naitik as an on-screen hubby but it's Neeraj who brought discipline in her life. She meticulously takes out time to meet him after pack-up since he no longer directs her show."
When contacted, Hina said, "Neeraj has taught me nuances of acting and holds a very special place in my life and will always be. We are very good Friends and I always consult him whenever I'm in a problem. However, we are not in a relationship as I will straightaway get married now. Whenever and whoever it is going to be, you guys will be informed."
We hope the relationship culminates into marriage.
