Indian Idol 6 celebrate I-Day with Sonakshi Sinha

MUMBAI: As the singing reality show Indian Idol 6 reaches its pinnacle, it is becoming difficult to judge that who would steal away the title this season. In the seventh gala round, the show will witness patriotic melodies as contestants will celebrate Independence Day.

Poorvi Koutish will commence the musical evening by rendering 'Ali More Angna' and 'Suno Gaur se Duniya Walo', while Devendra Pal will sing 'Oh Laal Meri' and 'Mera Rang de Basanti Chola', Amit Kumar will croon 'Mohe Rang de Basanti' and Vipul Mehta will sing AR Rahman's 'Vande Mataram'.

Bollywood actor Sonakshi Sinha will join the contestants as they celebrate the spirit of patriotism. Promoting her upcoming film 'Joker', she will also dance on her signature step from the song 'I wanna just you' indulging in some fun moments with the contestants and judges.

The episode will air on Friday, 17 August 2012.

The beautiful and charming Sonakshi Sinha will be seen in the impending episode of Indian Idol6 promoting her upcoming film 'Joker'.
She was extremely overwhelmed to meet the wonderful singers of 'Indian Idol' season 6, Vipul, Amit, Devendra and Poorvi.
Sonakshi was extremely thrilled to have come on the sets of the most popular singing reality show Indian Idol and also shared her singing experience with all present.

She added "When the 'Indian Idol' started for the first time, I was in my college. I was very much interested to go for 'Indian Idol' and sing songs. Unfortunately I remained as a bathroom singer. I am delighted that I've come for this show today. I've got an amazing opportunity to meet the fantastic singers and hear their songs. I'm fully enjoying myself."
Sonakshi also interacted with all the participants individually after the shoot admiring their performances.
