Thank you so much for all your views. :)

I'm personally for the Goverment fixing an age of consent. I agree that the government can never monitor this law and it may not affect those who dont care about sex anyway.

I think it's needed in order to ensure that those who have sex at the legal age are mentally, physically and emotionally prepared to face the consequences of it.

Pre-marital sex is wrong!

I don't know about the age but it should always be after marriage.

girls getting pregnant at 16...how unethical and disgusting and moreover their lives are only at risk when they cant bear pregnancy or at the time of abortion... and the insult to their parents. 😳

I think age of 16 was fine. You are not just starting as teen and till then you are somewhat familiar with the hormonal surges and can make decisions.

I'd say 18 years or above. Below that, well, people are young and often have no idea of the consequences of their actions. 18 years or above, one is grown up and can take responsible for his own actions.
