I am a horrible person. I can't believe I so mercilessly hurt my DS. A grandmother who always loved me and ignored my mistakes and always gave me a second chance. And today, she's hanging between life and death because of me. I would do anything to get a second chance to make amends to her. Anything at all.

Jay woke up to the bright sunlight falling on her bed through the curtains, lost deep in thought, with guilt written all over her face. She regretted what she had done to her DS for her own selfish reasons, which when she recalled now, seemed really pointless to her. She got up from her bed and went to the bathroom to freshen up.

"I should go and meet DS today. It has been a long time since I saw her" , Jay thought to herself.

She got dressed in her usual attire and headed towards DS's room. When she reached outside the door, she hesitated a bit, thinking of how she will face her grandmother after committing such a shameful act. She plucked up courage and slowly opened the door with a creek. The moment she entered, her guilt took over and tears welled up in her eyes on seeing the condition DS was in. She slowly made her way towards the bed and sat beside the unconscious body of her grandmother.

"DS" , whispered Jay. When she didn't get any response, she broke down into tears and cried her heart out.

"I am so sorry DS. I am so sorry for being so selfish and doing the worst possible things to my own blood. To you and to Manyata. I was blinded by hatred and couldn't see how much everybody loves me. My obsession for Uday made me do things that I now regret the most. Please wake up and give me one last chance to make it up to you, to ask for forgiveness. Please DS" , Jay continued sobbing until a hand touched her shoulder and she turned around to see Doctor Saab standing behind her, with a smile on his face.

"Doctor Uncle, DS ki tabiyat kab theek hogi? When will I be able to talk to her again?" , asked Jay with hope.

:Jay beta, aap fikar mat kijiye. Rajmaata is much better than before. Her body is slowly responding to the medications now. I am sure she'll be fine in no time at all" , replied Doctor Saab. Jay nodded and smiled.

Uday wakes up with a bright smile plastered on his face. He stretches his arms and sits up on his bed still lost in Manyata's thoughts. His eyes suddenly fall on a beautiful bouquet of fresh red roses lying on his coffee table. He gets up and walks towards it, already guessing who must have sent it. He picked up the note lying between the roses and read it:

Without you my life has no meaning

My dreams have no reality

And my aims have no focus

You make me feel loved

You enrich my soul

You complete my life with your love

Uday's smile widened with every word that he read

"Hmm so my Princess is in a romantic mood today. Not bad. I will definitely take advantage of that sweetheart" , smirked Uday. He kissed the note and left it on the table and went to take a quick shower.

"Haye Rabba main kya pehan kay jaongi aaj. Kuch samajh nahin aa raha" , Manyata was annoyed and rummaging through her wardrobe to find something appropriate to wear for her date with Uday tonight. She kept on throwing a dress after another, and one of them fell on Jay who had just entered her room.

"Omg jiji what the hell is all this?" , asked Jay surprised at her sisters antics.

"Arrey Jay, acha hua tu agai. Meri madad ker na please dress select kernay main" , pleaded Manyata

"Oh wow ,hamari jiji aaj finally pagal ho he gaen. Are you seriously asking me for help? By the way, what's the occasion?" , asked Jay.

"Woh Jay'woh'woh" , hesitated Manyata who had started blushing now.

"Bas bas, hum samajh gaye. Another date with Uday right?" , asked Jay mischievously.

"Haan na. And the thing is, I asked him out this time. So I want everything to be perfect. I want to surprise him this time. It's always him who surprises me. Now it's my turn" , said Manyata.

"Hmm. Okay I will help you with the dress. But you have to promise me you will wear whatever I choose for you okay?" , replied Jay. Manyata nodded and Jay grabbed her arm and took her to her room. On reaching, she immediately locked the door, went towards her closet, picked out some dresses and went up to Manyata.

"Okay jiji, go and try these on" , said Jay handing over the dresses to Manyata, who was shocked to see what she was holding.

"Jay tu pagal hogai hai kya? Main yeh sab aadhay adhooray kapray nahin pehan sakti" , said Manyata.

"Oho jiji. Do you want to surprise Uday or not? He would never expect you to wear short dresses, ab isse bara surprise uske liye aur kya hosakta hai? Come on now go and atleast try them on" , Jay urged Manyata.

"But Jay'"

"No buts jiji. GO!

Manyata reluctantly agreed and went to the bathroom to try the dresses that Jay had chosen for her. She wore 3 of them that Jay didn't approve of. And finally came the last dress. The moment Manyata stepped out of the bathroom wearing it, Jay's jaw dropped open and for the first time in her life, she stood there, staring at her sister in awe.

"Holy Mother Mary, jiji, is that you?", asked an extremely shocked Jay.

"Yea I guess?" , replied a bewildered Manyata.

"Oh.My.God. You look BEAUTIFUL" , answered Jay with a huge grin on her face. Manyata was wearing a black skin tight dress that ended just above her knees and showed off her curves in all the right places, making her look hot and mesmerizing but also keeping the decency in her still intact. Jay dragged Manyata and took her towards the mirror. Manyata was stunned to see the sight before her. And all she could manage to say was "Wow"

"Aaj to Uday kay hosh he urr jaengay" , said Jay with genuine happiness, which really surprised Manyata, but at the same time made her feel at peace.

"Thank you so much Jay" , said Manyata and immediately hugged her little sister. Jay was taken aback by this sudden gesture, but returned it with equal pleasure.

"You're welcome jiji" , was all she could say!

"Choti, aaj raat ko hum thora dair se ayengay. So don't wait up for me" , said a rather delighted Uday.

"Do I even need to ask why? I guess not" , replied Unnati, pulling her brother's leg.

"Choti, agar ab tumne hamari taang kheenchi na to phir bhool jao Vijay banna se dobara milnay kay baray main. Choice is yours" , winked Uday. Unnati's face fell instantly.

"Dada that is so unfair" , replied Unnati in a sad tone.

"Relax choti. Hum to bas mazak ker rahay thay" , said Uday pulling her cheeks.

"Acha yeh sab choriye. You should go and get ready for your date. And wear your black suit. You always look the best in it" , suggested Unnati to which Uday nodded with a smile.

Manyata was getting ready for her date with the help of Jay. She had left her hair open with lose curls in the end, adorned with beautiful diamond earrings and a bracelet and light make up, and was wearing black stilettos. She truly looked like a beauty. Just then Komal walked in.

"Manyata beta, aap bahut sunder lag rahi hain. Hamain to yaqeen he nahin ho raha kay yeh hamari he Manyata hai" , Komal was admiring her eldest daughter.

"Thank you Maa" , replied Manyata shyly.

"Aap Uday kay sath ja rahi hain?" , asked Komal.

"Jee Maa" , replied Manyata.

"Theek hai beta. Come back soon" , with that said, Komal left. Jay's phone beeped and she went towards it, and Manyata got busy in giving herself some final touch ups. Jay picked her phone and checked her text message.

Jay's face instantly glowed with a smile and she went to get ready, ignoring Manyata's questions on why she was in a hurry all of a sudden.

"Manyata Bh'." , Vijay had just entered the room, but couldn't complete his sentence as he was shocked out of his wits.

"Oh my God. Yeh Jay ki clone yahan kaisay agai?" , screamed Vijay acting to be shocked.

"Vijay Bhai main hoon. Manyata" , replied Manyata.

"Manyata Bhai tum? Lagta hai aaj Jay ki tarhan tum bhi pant pehanna bhool gai ho" , Vijay teased Manyata.

"Hawww Vijay Bhai. Kya main itni buri lag rahi hoon?" , pouted Manyata.

"Arrey hum to mazak ker rahay thay. Hamara bhai to bahut, who kya kehti ho tum? Haan, Aik dum rapchick rapchandus lag rahi ho" , winked Vijay. Manyata couldn't help but smile. Just then Manyata's cell beeped. It was a call from Uday. Vijay had left Manyata alone when she signaled him that it's Uday's call.

"So Princess. What's the plan?" , asked Uday, the joy clearly evident in his voice.

"Halkat veday, tujhse zara bhi wait nahi kiya jata na?" , replied Manyata, acting annoyed.

"Soch lo Princess, jitna zada wait kerwaogi, utni he penalty paray gi. Ab yeh mat poochna kay kaisay" , flirted Uday.

"Uday kay bachay'" , he cuts her midway.

"Bachay bhi hojaengay Princess, itni jaldi kya hai" , replied Uday in a cheesy tone, further teasing Manyata.

"Chee Uday. Kitnay besharam ho tum"

"Lo abhi to humne aisa kuch kiya bhi nahin. Zara hamari date per to milo, phir hum tumhe batatay hain. Who bhi penalty kay sath. Love you Princess" , Uday hung up the phone before Manyata could say anything.

"Pagal khasma nu khana kahin ka" , thought Manyata and smiled shyly to herself. She couldn't suppress the blush creeping up on her cheeks when she recalled Uday's words and got even more curious to meet him as soon as possible. She quickly gave herself one last look in the mirror and left the room, heading towards her car.

Precap: His fingers travelled on her back brushing her exposed skin every now and then in search for it's destination. He finally found it and started slowly undoing the zipper of her dress. She clutched his shirt tightly waiting nervously for the moment as her heart skipped a beat.
