In 2026, girls and boys r equal. Daughter s children are also heirs. Kareena and Karishma s kids are also Kapoor heirs.

It may not be about inheriting but about the lineage... Ranbir is the only grandson who continues the paternal line (son of a son) as a male heir...

Karisma has a son, Kareena has two sons and also Raj Kapoor's daughters have sons (and grandsons), but that isn't the continuation of Raj Kapoor's paternal line.
