ASR DOES IT AGAIN...CREATES HISTORY!!!
In what can only be termed as a nail biting suspense filled match, team India managed to seal a victory over the men in green in the final match of the 5 one-day international series held at Karachi. Winning the series 3-2 has made Arnav Singh Raizada the only captain of the men in blue ever to register five consecutive series titles against Pakistan in their own home grounds.
Referred to as ASR, the 28 year old Delhi lad, led his team from the front making an unbeaten 126 in just 112 balls to help India reach the evasive total of 302, set by the hosts, in just 48.2 overs and clinch the series. He was awarded the man of the series title for his swashbuckling batting throughout the series while the man of the match title was given to our vice-captain, wicket keeper, Aakash Singhania for his total of 83 not out and the 2 stumpings he made during the Pakistani innings.

Khushi Kumari Gupta sat in her car reading the news of India's winning. She was a sports buff and followed cricket religiously. She'd missed last night's match due to a party she'd had to attend.
Damn the Malhotra's...this seems like such an amazing match and I had to miss it for their stupid party...I wish I could've seen it...well there's no use crying over spilt milk now...anyway we look in amazing form...if we continue this we'll surely have our name on the world cup in may.
Her musings were interrupted by the hyper voice of her friend Payal Rathore.
"Isn't he just so Supermegafoxyawesomehot!!!!!!!!!!?"
The article in front of her friend was about the prime minister and Khushi was confused...did her friend just call the PM hot????? Payal saw the confused look of her best friend and started to laugh...
"I'm talking about ASR idiot."
"Oh right...for a moment I thought you were calling Mr. Singh hot"
"Ya right...please spare the old man gal...but just feast your eyes on this amazing specimen of male hotness...look at him holding the trophy...he just looks so bloody brilliant.../"
"Hmmm...he does look nice..."
"Nice...nice...that's it...are you crazy...he just looks amazing!!!"
Khushi smiled at her bestie...of course she found ASR appealing too but it was just so much fun to argue with her friend about it...Payal was crazy about him...eating, drinking, sleeping, working...she always thought of ASR...not that Khushi didn't think that he was worth thinking about...he was definitely a hunk and he was a great cricketer...but Khushi wasn't as obsessed with him.
She looked out of the windows as they reached their office. Khushi and Payal worked in Delhi's premier media agency "Phoenix Media's" which was currently ranked 2nd in the country. At 23 the two were not only the youngest media managers in the company but also the only two female managers as the agency largely catered to male clientele. Khushi was proud of having reached at this level at such a young age. Most people thought that it was an easy and glamorous job...meeting celebrities...attending parties...but well all that glitters is not gold...her work was very demanding...preventing harsh scandals...leaking lucrative gossip...arranging for her clients to be seen in the right places...having them meet influential people wasn't an easy task. But despite all this Khushi loved her job...she was a natural when it came to making decisions and somehow was always able to keep her clients pleased...in return she got more money than she knew what to do with and met stars most people would die to meet. Yes...it was a perfect job...!!!
