Barun and sanaya r not alone to be unsure

This is not To support or insult anyone after reading a post that they don't know abt current affairs and who our president is I just wanted to share something with u.

While I was in abroad and was very busy with my life ,one day in a shopping mall a localite came to me and asked me wether i was from INDIA.it was an obvious question for me as I was in a sari.then he asked me from which part of INDIA I said South India from Andhra.

He asked me how is Mr.Naidu I was surprised to hear that and said he's good now he asked me who's our president was,in a very confident tone I said Mr.Abdul Kalam.he told me that he was asking abt the new President,I was so ashamed to know from a foreigner that we had our President Elections been held a week ago,I was so busy with my work that I didnt try to know abt our country.

Looking at my embarrassment he said that he was fond of these two politicians who have a vision and responsibility towards the Society.I felt so proud to be an INDIAN that people from other countries r eager to know abt us but Iam here so busy with my work that I didn't realize it.

I just wanted to say onething that it's not good or bad not to know abt our Country there will be few situations in every ones life where we r unable to even share some time with our family,and to go thru newspaper or to know abt current affairs will not be possible so we can't judge anyone reg this.

I agree that what I did was wrong and even tried my best to rectify it.

I won't be surprised if in the future our kids turn around and ask us what do we mean by Freedom Fighters😉. Anyways, I do know that a young kid recently when asked who wrote 'Vande Mataram' responded 'A R Rehman'!!! Can we blame them? Their responses will be in line to what they have been exposed to!!!

Who are we to judge Barun, Sanaya and Deepali? Do we all remember the names of our Presidents, Freedom Fighters and the significance of the flag colours? Can we be honest about our level of knowledge too?

That's the question what I exactly was asking myself what I have done in the past so need to get surprised to know abt them .

I totally agree we need to discuss our show and not our political knowledge. It's just that I can't bear it when any one raises an ungli on my beloved Barun and Sanaya😆😆😆. Forumwasion will never get a 10/10 on political knowledge or any other knowledge but will surely score a 10/10 on IPKKKND knowledge for sure😆

Agree, we can't blame someone when ourselves r unsure any so many things,why to discuss abt them making them feel embaressed

Barun and Sanaya are just two people amongst a sea of other people who haven't been updated about the President. They are talked about coz they are celebrities... Majority of the Indian population i'm sure still aren't aware.

You know, this is true with most of us..

Almost all are busy with their day to day lives that such important and crucial happenings is missed out. General Knowledge is very important with people of all ages especially about Indian History, the Government, the technology, the people, almost everything..

In school, we all learn this but as we grow older it becomes important that we take sometime and personal interest and update ourselves about the same. Most of them including me are in the same boat. So we can only better ourselves from now on..

its really so sad being in india n being indian we noe nothin adt our country its culture etc...we arfe nt evn update with the present happenins of oyr country...evn d major events like elctns!!!!...our president gets changed n we dont evn noe dat...not only barun n sanaya bt i think most of us dont noe abt it...we get busy in our daily chores n wrk...concentrate on our carrier n money dat we dont evn have time to update ourselves with the happenins of evn our nation...the country which hasgiven us a land a place to stay in...has provided us n our family a sheltr!!!...i think finally a time will cum when we might nt evn noe abt our neighbours or evn our family?????...is dis wat we want????...isnt it really a pittyfull conditn guys...???? i think its upto us to decide wat we want!!!!😊
