ya saw it though...both Barun-Sanaya couldnt answer current president's name that was really bad...Deepali was good...Dadi n Nani was fab !

I won't be surprised if in the future our kids turn around and ask us what do we mean by Freedom Fighters😉. Anyways, I do know that a young kid recently when asked who wrote 'Vande Mataram' responded 'A R Rehman'!!! Can we blame them? Their responses will be in line to what they have been exposed to!!!

Who are we to judge Barun, Sanaya and Deepali? Do we all remember the names of our Presidents, Freedom Fighters and the significance of the flag colours? Can we be honest about our level of knowledge too?

Happy Independence to all Indians!!! Jai Ho!!!

Audio was not very clear. But I was surprised that people don't know current president's name. Forget about the first president's name.
Independence day venue - I expected everyone to know it.

But then let us not judge the people. Probably if you ask these questions to a random sample of the population,some will know and some may not know. Now why TV stars should be different than others ? As far as general awareness about your nation is concerned - it is as close or as alien to them as to the normal people. If we assume that among normal people some will answer correctly and some will not then same is true for TV stars. Our Dadi did well !!!
Well , what to say for BS and SI ? They are doing their job extremely well. Let us be thankful for that... If all of us do our given jobs well --- then there will be utopia...

what's the big deal yaar...we are appreciating his work which is acting...but we are not fans for his mentality or for his knowledge on current affairs...if he has so many fans around the world it doesn't mean he has to be perfect in every field...including politics...top of it, India's politics are not worth of remembering always...today if we are loving our country India means, it is just because of freedom fighters who brought independence to us..not because of our today's politicians...

forget about Barun, many of us don't know our president's name...
