I have see a trend in serials...all widowed specially who was was young widow and spinster ladies are shown as frustus who get jealous of other girls who r getting a 2nd chance in life.
I guess they are jeaous because they had to spend all their lives alone.
I dont know why choti ma is so possessive and shiv...he is not her son...when his parents dont have a prob with Anandi why is she getting so worked up.

I think her character is positive but cares too much for Shiv. It depends on CVs how they want to take her character from now onwards but she reminds me of radha bua of SGP who was very much apprehensive about suhana in the beginning.
@mcm99: I don't remember now... but I think choti maa in jyoti was replaced later on... & this actress was the one who played that role if I'm not wrong.

Agree with TM. CM does not seem like a negative role to me. Though she is shown apprehensive at first, i hope she accepts Anandi wholeheartedly once she interacts with Anandi . She cares a lot for Shiv..and no wonder that is making her think from all perspectives.

We have enough negative/grey roles in BV..i just wish they don't portray CM negatively👎🏼
