Salman Khan is a romantic hero!
If given a chance, Salman Khan would pick romance over action, as he believes he is a romantic from heart and is not too old to play a lover boy.
"No, I don't think that I am too old to do romance on screen. The time you can do action you can do romance as well. If you can't do action, there is no romance," Salman told in an interview.
He was at the promotion of his film Ek Tha Tiger, along with Katrina Kaif.
According to Katrina Kaif, Salman is becoming more of a sober person with age. He has mellowed down considerably.
"I think he has become much calmer now. Earlier his energy level is to run around, he used to be insane. Though he has calmed down from that, still it is above normal," said Katrina.
At a different promotional event for the same flick, Salman was asked whether he prefers romantic or action flick, Sallu said jokingly,
"I am doing a lot of romantic stuff — but not on screen (laughs). I am going to do Sooraj Bharjatya's film soon. I prefer romance. There is too much pain in an action film. You have to wake up at wrong hours and do all that action.
"You have to fight in dirty places, sometimes in water, sometimes in the sun. Do people really fight on roofs? Why can't they give us a good mattress to fall on? But no, they will always make you fall on a hard surface."
