OS - Big Apple Re-union!

The flight to Newyork was delayed by 7 hours which screwed up all the business agenda of Mr.Raizada.He got into a bad verbal exchange with the airlines staff n proceeded out of the terminal after clearance.He was so aggravated.He never liked getting late, but didn't like it even a bit since it was a crucial meeting for signing an important deal which can fetch him a million dollars.Darn it ...he murmered as he got into his cab.He was tired too since he didn't get any rest at all for last 1 n half days.He directed the chauffeur to his client's office instead of the hotel since he wanted to check out his luck .As he entered the mighty PNK group he was told that the meeting was rescheduled for the next day since there was some internal issues that had to be fixed with utmost urgency.Fine,very well thought Arnav as he walked out of that place.

A good lunch n nap made him get recharged.He got a call of apology from his client's manager n the manager let Arnav know that the meeting will be at the office at 11 AM the next day.Arnav wasn't new to NY.He roamed around the city that afternoon for a long time,finished his presentation preparations for the next day n fell asleep.The weather forced him to wear his Cashmere suit the next day n while admiring himself in the mirror he said..45 doesn't look bad on u Mr.Raizada!He smirked n walked away.

The board room of PNK group was up to date as far as technology n class was concerned.There were some delegates from other companies too to bid on the new project PNK was outsourcing.Soon the CTO of the company walked in n said ''my boss will be here soon.but lets just touch base before that.It was a introductory round n soon n lady all cladded in a classy work suit walked in to the room.The attitude of hers was overflowing.The command on her face was brilliant.But soon,as Arnav realised that face n what it meant to him ,his jaw dropped.The lady started off in an amazing accent n confidence.So gentlemen,prove it to me that your company is the best for doing the project for me..it was a Japanese company's turn first n then it was Arnav's.As the lady looked at Arnav her eyes sparkled.As their eyes collided sparks flew all over the board room.

Arnav cleared his throat n made his presentation.He was trying to focus on it but many a times he stole a few looks to n from her.The meeting got over in an hours time.Everyone shook hands n started leaving.The CTO came to Arnav n said ''madam will meet u in her chamber'' n he gave Arnav the directions to her chamber.Arnav knocked at her door n' come on in' came the reply.She asked Arnav to have a seat as she continued on her call...Pranav...she was sayin...don't do this to me now..I need u by this Friday n thats final.I am missin u so much baby''.love ya n c u soon''.She finished the call n took her seat.

All that they cud do for the next couple of minutes was staring at each other...they were demanding each other for answers for many unanswered questions...''Khushi,Arnav said at last..you? the boss of PNK group?''

''What did u expect otherwise Mr.Arnav SIngh Raizada?I will be selling jalebis in Delhi or Lucknow?but in a way I am very thankful to you.You made me realise my unknown potential inside me as to how strong of a person I could be.Each mental abuse n torture from you made me reach here.In this very chair,which even u look upon!''She smirked this time.How long your stay is gonnab Mr.Raizada?Mabbe we can talk over a cup of coffee later today''.Arnav nodded his head automatically n proceeded towards the elevator.He started sweating even in that december chillness.He still cudn't get the concept of Khushi Kumari Gupta becoming the CEO of PNK group.Arnav remained a couch potato rest of the afternoon.Memories of past started haunting him.He remembered how he pushed Khushi out of the door after dadi telling him how Khushi's mother ws the reason behind his parents death.He didn't even give her a chance to explain.Later on when the Gupta family came to know about the entire events it got revealed that Khushi's mom was innocent n it was Arnav's dad who was the culprit as Arnav has anticipated...anyways the damage was done n Khushi was never seen or heard of again until a couple of years when Akash said to him that he had come to know that Khushi is married n has a son.He tried to locate her but in vain.Arnav started getting shattered.He knew that he didn't deserve forgiveness from her.They became one on the Janmashtami day n the next day she was thrown out of the RM inspite of her repeated begging asking for a chance to expalin her stance.But Arnav was that cold hearted demon once again...tears of repentance n guilt flowed out of his eyes.he closed his eyes n made the surroundings dark.

By 5PM that evening Arnav n Khushi met at a coffe shop.Arnav looked at the classy styled Khushi admiringly.Age hadn't changed her a bit.She was still flawless.Infact she looked more devilishly beautiful with her short blunt cut hair,perfect fit business suit n her matching heel shoes.She had a spectacle on her which Arnv thought added to her naughty looks hidden inside those glasses.They both ordered cappuccinos n quite moments passed by.''Khushi'',Arnav broke the silence at last.''I know sorry is not the word...but still,my youth was cold n angry.My life had been that cruel to me'' he said to her.

''So how many times was I cruel to u?How many bad deeds I committed in ur family?''Khushi snapped back.She leashed out the the entire anger n sadness she had supressed in her on him.The ever correct Mr.Raizada didn't have even one word to defend himself.She proved him utterly wrong.Her lashing out cam to a halt when the phone rang.''haan Pranav..no don't worry.I am fine.I can handle it''.saying this she kept the phone down.

''So,Pranav as in PNk?''asked Arnav.''Yes'',Khushi replied...''Pranav,Nandkishore n Khushi as in PNK'' she again gave him back.A sudden chill went thru Arnav's spine.''So u got married to NK?''he asked.

''Does it matter '',she asked him back,why shud u care Mr.Raizada?''

I care damn it he said..I cared for u always.I was really out of way with what I did to u...but till now,till this day I am repenting for my mistake.He clenched his teeth n made a fist n hit the coffee table.

Oh boy!exclaimed Khushi...have I missed this.she giggled.She realised that she wasn't this happy in many years..inspite of all that Arnav had put her through she still loved that man.He was her first man.but she hid all those feelings .Arnav saw her giggle n said...don't u start now,Khushi Kumari Gupta Nandkishore..he darted...

Those words cracked her up...the gulp of coffe in her mouth just splashed out towards Arnav n she started laughing uncontrollably...''what on earth Mr.Raizada,come again,Mrs.Khushi kumari gupta Nandkishore''...she again rolled her head n started laughing.Did u hear that Nanheji,she asked turning behind.A man in blue executive shirt came forward n said to Arnav...Arnav,kaise ho mere bhai?Arnav cudn't beleive his eyes.He was seeing NK after 16 long years.Thats how long it had been since he was seperated from Kushi.Khushi soon got another call n NK n Arnav got into talks.Nk told Arnav how he proposed to Khushi after he thought everyting was over between her n arnav n how she rejected that proposal saying the mangalsutra around her neck will always be in Arnav's name.Arnav was soon filled with mixed emotions.He grew feeble n felt a sudden clench in his chest.

Khushi was holding to his hands when he opened his eyes at the hospital.Arnav tried to talk but Khushi hushed him.Arnav gripped on her hands n gave her a pleading look.That was more for Khushi to handle...like a lifeless flower she rested her head on his shoulders.Their tears wetted each other.They both cursed the life n circumstances that acted cruel on them.They both fiddled with their fingers as Khushi pressed her face more firmly on his shoulders.A knock at the door startled them.The doctor walked in n examined Arnav.He warned Arnav n Khushi that his health has to be taken more seriously .Luckily nothing looks bad said the doctor.Soon the nurse came in n said Arnav can go home in a day.Arnav n Khushi got relieved hearing this.As Khushi leaned on him once again the sparkle of her mangalsutra gained his attention.SO u still r married to me Khushi kumari ...Gupta singh raizada she completed.Arnav hugged her slender body never again to let it go.He pressed his lips on her forehead.He lifted her chin up n looked at her...Khushi,do u know u still turn me on?Khushi hit him playfully.Certain things never change she said to him n once again they eloped into a hug on inseperation!

Khushi soon saw Arnav slipping into deep sleep,a sleep he hasn't had in years...in- between Arnav kept on calling her name in his sleep n she held his hands each time he called for her.She made him realise her presence n love even in his sleep.Arnav woke up fresh the next day morning to see Khushi sleeping keeping her head on his bed n her hand holding his vest tight.''Awww Khushi,u hvn't changed a bit by heart n behaviour'', he whispered to her as he tucked her lazy short hairs behind her ears.She looked like an angel in her sleep.Arnav heard a knock at the door n said come in.Soon there came in a boy in his teens who gave Arnav a fierce look n stood head high with attitude.He soon proceeded to Khushi n kissed her on her head.''Mom'' he called...Khushi woke up with a start .''Pranav,tum?'' n hugged him tight.Khushi held Pranav by hands n brought him near Arnav.''Pranav knows his dad well...but Mr.Raizada,lemme introduce you to your son...Pranav!''

Arnav's face shivered ..he felt energy less...he slowly sat on the bed.Khushi directed Pranav to take Arnav's blessings.Arnav just then heard Pranav telling...I don't like u for how you treated my mom n never wanted to meet you...but now since we met ...my mother had also taught me how to respect elders..saying this Prnav touched Arnav's feet.Arnav felt that as the biggest punishment for his doings to Khushi.Tears rolled down from his cheeks.It was tears of joy n sorrow n repentance.but the next sentence from Khushi brought his smile back...Arnavji,ur attitude hasn't gone anywhere nor it has become old...it is still in it's teens.saying this khushi gave a punch to Pranav's tummy...
