Birthday gift

When khushi woke up she was not surprised to find arnav's side bed empty because he had already told her about his meeting early in the morning.. she got up to get ready.. the flashback of night came in her mind she was sad about what arnav had said but she was pleased as arnav had first time expressed his feelings with her… she went to take shower..
She got dressed in orange and red dress… she went to sit on the dressing chair to put sindoor and mangalsutr… but she froze and the sindoor in her hands falls on her head… she saw the reflection of calendar that showed today was the day when their marriage contract will finish..
Khushi: "That means that today after midnight I will no longer be Khushi Kumara Gupta Singh raizada.."
A tear rolled down her cheek making her sob… she heard a door knock.. she quickly wiped her tear and found hp standing in front..
Hp: " khushi bhabi di is calling you downstairs.."
Khushi: "you go I am coming"
Khushi came downstairs and saw that everyone was preparing for something and they were decorating the house.. khushi went to anjali..
Anajli: "So khushi ji what have you planned for chotey's birthday?"
Khushi: "arnavji's birthday?"
Anjali:"Yes khushi this is the best day of my life as my chotey came into this world" she smiled at khushi but found confused khushi..
Anjali: "what happen khushiji why are you confused?"
Khushi: "di arnavji did not told about his birthday"
Anjali cupping her face with one hand: "Its ok khushi ji chotey does not like telling his birthdates to everyone.. but since I have told you can prepare something for him.. what say?"
Khushi felt sad as anjali said to everyone.. she thought: "so arnavji include me in everyone!"
Khushi smiled at anjali and went in her room to think what present must she give to arnav… then suddenly something popped in her mind and called someone and told him to bring those stuffs…
She came down stairs to keep herself busy she went in the kitchen to cook something.. meanwhile the gift had arrived she kept in the cupboard and thought to give it later before midnight..
Arnav arrived everyone gave him the surprise and presents except khushi who had planned something else.. everyone went in their respective rooms after the dinner khushi was in the kitchen hp told her that di was looking for her.. she went in anjali's room where she found that anjali was sitting very sad..
She went inside and saw that anjali was crying.. she went to sit beside her when she sat on the bed she didn't realized she made a call to arnav… arnav picked the call and was able to hear each and every word the two women were having…
Khushi: "Di what happen? Is everything alright?"
Anjali stood up: "khushi ji why are you doing this to me why?"
Khushi did not knew what anjali was talking about…. She cupped her face to ease her but anjali did not had any intention like that she wanted to tease khushi that's why she was acting that way… she stood up facing the other side to stop her smile..
Anjali: "khushi ji you know that I am going to be a mother then why are you doing this?"
Khushi had no idea what she was talking about she stood up to console her…
Khushi: "what happen di what did I do?"
Anjali: "khushi ji I feel like eating something sour" she made a sad face and then smiled at khushi..
Khushi smiled at anjali: "di I am going bring something for you.."
Anjali: "thank you khushi… chotey is so lucky to have a wife like you…"
Khushi smiled and went to bring something for anjali…
Arnav had heard each word and was happy that these two ladies were back to normal but then he heard what he never wished to hear….
Khushi talking to herself in the kitchen: "no di I am lucky to have such nice husband but… today after twelve I will be the most unluckiest girl…"
A tear rolled down.. arnav understood what she meant… he now only had one hour left…
Meanwhile khushi had finished giving food to anjali… when she entered her room she found it dark.. she thought that maybe arnav had went to sleep but to her surprise he waiting for khushi by the poolside… she went towards him
Arnav: "khushi I want to give you a surprise.."
Khushi: "what arnavji?"
Arnav gave her to tie a cloth around her eyes.. he then picked her up and took her to the car… they both were silent as khushi was thinking about the surprise and was thinking about khushi's reaction about the surprise… they soon reached their destination.. arnav picked her up and took her inside he then took off the cloth khushi slowly opened her eyes and found that she was standing in the mandir.. and pandit was standing in front of her…
Arnav covered her head with the dupatta and took her inside where they took the pheras and then arnav puts sindoor on her head..
Pandit: "you are now real husband and wife.."
Khushi was very surprised as she never thought of this because arnav never trusted in marriage…
Khushi: "arnavji you…"
Arnav: "shh.."
They both then went home directly in their room.. khushi was very quiet as she needed time to realise what had happened..
Arnav: "by the way khushi today was my birthday remember? And still half an hour is left.. so where is gift..'
Khushi the realized that she had not given him the present.. she took put a big box and handed it to arnav was happy and started opening the box..
The first thing that came out was mosquito killer and then he remembered how lost his voice for the whole day.. he smiled at khushi who was standing and was happy to see arnav smile.. the second gift was a white shirt.. flashback o their wedding day came.. how khushi had worn his shirt.. khushi now had a broad smile and arnav was smiling too..
He expected the third would also something like that and to his surprise it was a pair of shoes.. khushi reminded him of how she poured juice into his shoes.. he laughed at that one… and the last gift was a handkerchief that khushi written on it.. on this a tear flowed from her eyes and she hugged arnav.. arnav hugged her back..
Khushi sobbed: "thanks for the surprise that was the best.."
Arnav smiled: "and thanks for your gifts as well khushi"
Khushi smiled: 'yea I know you must be thinking how stupid my gifts were but they will always remind you of all the moments we had spent together…" arnav cupped khushi's face: "I don't need that moments.. we will create our own memories khushi… I love you.."
Khushi: "I love you too arnav ji.."
They hugged each other that made silent promises of being together forever….
