Hey Sunshine , I finally got time.
*Hangs her head down with shame*
i know i'm late but i don't know why i seem to be a lot busy these days.
There is a lot to say about the story It's Gotta Be You so here is it i loved the emotions related to the slap. Ridhimma's anger that led to it and her helplessness in Armaan's presence. It showed her love for him that still existed , questioning his past actions and her feelings towards it .Armaan's portrayal of guilt by allowing her to take it all out was spot on.
There are many things that i like in your writings. I absolutely adored the interaction between Armaan and ridhimma where she wanted nothing but to run away from him and he wanted nothing but to let her know how much he still cares for her and that he had realized he was wrong .It's human tendency not to forget .People always remember their love, their hatred and everything that they've been through. It's easy to forgive but to forget is difficult. And you portrayed this beautifully by their conversation in the end. Both of them will remember . She won't forget his betrayal even though it kills her and he won't forget her and her sadness even if he has to spend his entire life trying to change that.
The whole of Armaan's apology showed he had realized his mistake but one thing that he failed to see was that we can't go back in time. He knew he was wrong and so he wanted to apologize because he couldn't live with his guilt and without her but he couldn't understand her pain completely. So the end where he decides to look out for her forever was justified. And even though a happy end is always appreciated, some stories are better left incomplete.
And I loved this line "It was the easiest and the hardest thing to do" just suits their situation.

"Moving On" to the next story, I've said before that i like sad stories and so i loved this one.
This line made me go aww... "How can I? How, when she was my strength?".It started at a sad note which made me hope for a happy end and though it wasn't maybe what everyone had hoped for but it was a happy end nevertheless. Armaan did decide to move on in his life, maybe he would never get over Ridhimma's love but atleast he would live a less painful life. Eventhough Ridhimma had remarried Sid but she never stopped loving Armaan.
"Everyone said that keeping yourself busy helped a person not lament and get depressed over the sad happenings in their life. All fake, he mused. When you live, breathe, think and function for someone, then whatever you do, nothing will take your mind off them. Even while you work, everything will be centred around them and their memories. Shutting his eyes, the first image that cropped up in his mind was of them. Their cute fights, their amazing eye-locks were just some of the things that he couldn't ever let go of, even if he wanted to."I too did not want him to get over her, maybe it's selfish, but i could never see them apart. He had to move on, living in the past is plain dumb and sad and it made him lose himself ,he had lost all he had but he should atleast try
I liked how you used Anjali to show how things had changed. And maybe they couldv'e been better but the one who had the ability had changed for the good or worse no one knew even though they thought they did. Their whole group dynamics had changed. Friends were lost and new accomplices were made. I did feel sorry for Ridhimma, she wasn't right but i wouldn't call her guilty, she took decisions and it had consequences. I liked how Muskaan told her what she wouldv'e done and this is what i wanted Armaan to be. And Atul finally potrayed right,he stood up to Anjali for her behaviour .And Ridhimma, i seriously felt like women decide what you want, it's okay you love Armaan but claim to be happily married so choose the correct side and live with that.
Muskaan's whole speech was awesome. Everyone should have a friend like that, she knows what it is too be alone and she wouldn't let armaan go through the same. Being confused is okay, but being blind to some people's faults and believing you are the only right person around is foolish. It's difficult to see how could she not trust armaan, she had been in a relationship with him for long and still she found him at fault for every wrong doing at Sanjeevani."It's time you really let him go, so that he can move on too."This was what was required, their love was too powerful to let go and that's what led to hoping for a maybe someday... but i liked how Armaan understood they couldn't be friends, you can never be a friend to someone you love, it would be too painful.
It was the right time, everything was out. All the feelings exchanged and finally the bulb lit in Armaan's head that he had to move for his friends, if not for his own self." Shaking her head sadly, she turned and got into the car, wiping all those memories away that she had once cherished so much. The same memories that had somehow helped her overcome her depression."Had me thinking how times change sometimes the thing that you cherished deeply becomes something you wish you never had.

Sanaa 🤗
Sorry for dropping by so late. But your PM was somewhere in between over 150 unreads (oh yeah! am so not active here) and hence, the delay. 😳
Anyways now that I read it , I think:
This was something every Ar-ian somewhere wanted to read, when DMG lost its charm and in came Sid (cute poor thing who was hated for being a such a haddi between AR :P)! LOL!!! Yeahh!! Bless him..Gosh I remember how I used to despise that dude!! And everytime I watch bits and pieces of DMG I still do get back to familiar hate mode!! But either way..I really do like Karan Wahi..he's sooo adorable...😆
I was tearing up reading this piece. It hurt seeing all pieces falling apart. And as much as I love AR, I loathed Ridz for tormenting Armaan to such an extent! There's a limit to everything and the way she kept blaming every single time on Armaan , who being such a sweetheart never complained, was preposterous. I loved the fact that Atul and Muskaan were there for Armaan. Armaan-Muski bond was so amazing..I've been always in awe of their friendship. And well, Armaan's champ - Atul, was too innocent to stand with people who had wronged , Anjali and all. I know!! During the whole show..(season 2) whenever Armaan was in pain..I was BEGGING the CVs (mentally coz I never got in touch with them) to bring back the old gang..or if not them then at least SOMEONE who'd support Armaan..Sid had all his friends..and Riddhima! Armaan had no one!! Bless him.. I too always adored the bond between Armaan Muskaan, Armaan Atul, Armaan Rahul and Armaan Nikki. Now I couldn't bring Rahul back..and Anjali pissed me off after she came back and never said a word about Armaan - as though he didn't exist!! 😲 that also TWO times riddhima got married..hah.
As for Ridz, she was completely messed and Muski lashing out on her that way was awesome. Ridz needed a reality check and she could plead and try to put forth her point as much as she wanted but the truth remained was that she could have chosen Armaan and she didn't. It was her life. Her choice. And blaming anyone else or the circumstances for that matter was all useless. yeah..Ridz..no comments man..
Muskaan and Atul were brilliant. I loved how they reacted and stood by Armaan. That's what friends, true ones, do. I was deeply hurt for Armaan, though. He didn't deserve the treatment her got. Just because he always succumbed to his love for Ridz didnt give anyone that right to always expect him to bear pain and understand. Heck! He's a human too! It was so damn touching to see him the way he became. He did so much for everyone and in the end, he was left devastated by the one person he was practically breathing for. I mean seriously?!! 😠I was so glad when Armaan finally spoke in the argument and put an end to all.
The ending was perfect. Justified! A new beginning .. moving on ..was at last what these three needed! I couldn't be happier about the ending note.
You know Sanaa, everything that you mentioned was so well crafted. Beautiful is also an understatement for this OS. <3 Awhh thank you sooo much!!
I loved it. And I mean it. 😃

Prologue
She shut her eyes as a tear slipped down her face so easily. One of many, in fact. Her throat was clogged up but she let it remain so by supressing her sobs inside herself and continuously rocking back and forth on the rocking chair. Whilst emerged in the darkness of her own room, events that had taken place not many hours back flashed through her mind.
"No, she's not doing it!" The words she had spat out echoed in her ears. "She is not! I won't let her!"
"It could save another fifty or so lives from being ruined!" His soft voice explained. But she shook her head viciously holding the girl close to herself, staring defiantly at the man in front of her. Normally, his blue eyes would enchant her, but this time things were different.
"NO! I won't let her anywhere near those people. You already know who they are, why don't you just arrest them?"
"It's not easy. I've explained.."
"And getting a fifteen year old girl to go back to hell is? No I'm not letting her do it!" Her voice broke into fury as her grip tightened on the girl who'd paled up, and looked as though she had seen a ghost. He ran his long fingers through his windswept hair, frustration building up.
She knew she was right in her place. But there was a nagging feeling at the back of her mind - severely over powered at the moment - that sided with him. Heck, part of her always sided with him.
"I'm not forcing her. Aliyah," he turned, addressing the young girl, whose ebony dark hair shone out against her now almost-white skin. "I'm not forcing you at all. It's the only thing we can come up with to catch the real guy behind all this. And that will save so many other lives as well."
"Armaan she's fifteen! Leave her alone!"
His gaze flew to her hazel eyes, which pleaded him to take back what he'd just suggested. Her heart physically ached as the images of millions of possibilities swarmed through her head.
"Riddhima.." he stretched a hand out to her, but she slapped it away, backing off.
"No. I thought you were my friend. I thought you'd help. Trusted you to! Because we've known each other for so long. Heck I.." she stopped aware that she was about to lay her feelings bare before him. "But you obviously don't care." She continued bitterly, feeling her emotions rip down her cheeks. "You're just like all these other police and Government officials! As long as it doesn't affect you, or all the stupid certificates hanging on your wall, you'll turn a blind eye to it."
"You think I don't care?" his vision locked on hers, and anger powered up. His jaws clenched. "I stay up for nights on end trying to figure how to eradicate problems such as these, doing the job I'm given, and not only mine, but about half the country's because they don't do it. Yes, people turn a blind eye to stuff like this when it doesn't concern them, but that's my job! I want to do it. I don't have to. I want to open up the doors and make sure there's justice! I want to ensure things are still right! I lose my sleep so others can have theirs in the long term at least. And for that, even when it's the hardest decision, I have to make sacrifices!"
Silence prevailed between them for a moment as Riddhima stood stunned in front of Armaan. She couldn't believe the words he had just uttered. How clear everything was suddenly!
"That's all she is to you isn't she? A goat bred and brought up for the ultimate sacrifice."
His eyes widened slightly as a guilt passed across his handsome face.
"No, you're taking the wrong meaning out of.."
"Good bye Armaan."
With that, she took Aliyah, who was still paralysed, and led her frail body out of the office in determination. She couldn't bear to even take a last glance at the man behind her who was now inwardly cursing himself for what he'd just said.
A knock startled her out of her reverie as she looked down to see her hands shaking. Sniffing once and wiping her tears away she turned back to see Aliyah standing in the doorway, smiling sadly at her.
"Didi," she started off in the thick roadside hindi accent she had been accustomed to. Riddhima frowned as she saw determination in her deep dark eyes.
The hall light illuminated Aliyah's body as she came down and sat herself on the floor next to the bed, as though still contemplating on whether or not tell her. With ease, Riddhima slid off the rocking chair and joined her, putting her back against the wooden frame and Aliyah's cold hand in her warm ones.
"Didi.." she repeated, before finally turning her head to look at Riddhima again.
The older girl swallowed once, a horrible feeling making its way down to the pit of her stomach, anticipating the worst before it came. And even then, when it arrived in the form of two words, it hit her like a blow in the face, rendering her in a state of confoundment.
"I'm ready."
