Arnav already had his Redemption

Please don't bash me, just want to clarify the whole redemption saga.

Persons are still looking for redemption from Arnav, but, his redemption started when he got kidnapped. Remember when he left to go overseas, Khushi came to the airport to prove her innocence though Arnav wanted to believe he still didn't trust her, it was not developed within him yet.

While he was kidnapped he even remembered how he treated her that day and there was sorrow and regret etched in his face. Also, when he saw how she risked her life to save him he started to trust her and we all know the events that took place in the development of the trust phase. This was his Redemption.

When the Sham truth came out, it's not that he didn't want to be at Khushi's side but he had to support his sister; remember, we don't know what they discussed outside before Khushi entered the RM mansion alone maybe they planned it. Also, this was Redemption. Even though Sham tried to degrade her, Arnav could have insulted Khushi in front of everyone but he didn't again trust established.

Yes, we were all upset when he blasted her and said that he wished she never came into his life, but he was helpless his sister rejected him and he felt bad about it so his reaction was normal. However, he realized what he said was wrong and he returned to her only to see her packing her bags. The only thing he knew to do was to bring up the contract he understood her importance in his life. Remember how he reacted when he realized or thought Khushi left because of the contract. He did everything to win her back, he understood that without her, he is nothing. O.k. put it this way the mere thought of her not by his side was like death to him, remember what he told his sister, 'if i lose her i will die' ( i'm just paraphrasing). Though we may not have agreed how he wooed her back he did it in the style that he knows, the ASR way; besides he was desperate, he couldn't lose his love, he couldn't lose his happiness (Khushi). That too was Redemption.

Finally, after the Rakhi celebration Arnav bought her gifts she opened them in order the final one was the pearl necklace. He returned her dignity, the dignity that he stripped from her on their first meeting and continued to give her hell throughout. He apologized for taking her dignity away from her though it was not said in direct words but said through his eyes, remember they are telepathic so we the viewers have to read between the lines. As a matter of fact with this show you have no choice but to read between the lines. He strung the pearls together, he handed Khushi her dignity. Redemption completed.

The other redemption will be for Dadi, whatever decisions she made in the past affected the Raizadas', Guptas', Malicks' and Jhas'. The past must be cleared for the future to be bright.

Comment if you like but please don't bash, this is just my understanding of the Arnav Redemption Track.

See just a few days back someone commented on rima's post that Arnav's redemption started when he saw Shyam with Khushi on the terrace hugging and I was like "What the f***)

On that I joked stating that
I think he will tell that Arnav kidnapping also was a part of self pain inflicted upon himself to seek redemption.
Twisted People

But now I feel that you are replying on her behalf

Redemption is not only about correcting things but it is also about learning from them, but has he learnt from it? I don't think so he has. He still is very much the same old Arnav who gets things done in his own way without caring for others.

A few good deeds don't make a man saint and karma will catch up on you. So Arnav may try to rectify things but the pain he has caused in the life of Khushi and Guptas cannot be forgotten easily.

This redemption track lacks regret and that is what pains people, he never fells anything wrong for what he did???

I agree with you partly that yes he has paid for his deeds. But that's not the only thing redemption is about. He has to learn to speak up his feelings. If he spoke his heart out when she was packing her bags, he wouldn't have needed to bring in the contract idea to keep her back. If he learned to control his mouth in front of her he wouldn't have ended up saying all that he said to her. At that point I just felt that he had still not learned from his mistakes and he was kind of taking Khushis forgiveness for granted.

I have noticed that he has learned now though. And to be honest I don't really have a problem with him anymore. The guys doing all he can in his own way to make it back to her. Just hope he does actually marry her again though.

No one is asking for ASR's redemption. He is on the right track.
But repentance was a must which CVs conveniently skipped. It made the redemption a little lacklustre.

When the MU happened if ASR can have a road side breakdown, why CVs diluted the MU clearance without even a single FB's or introspection scene from arnav? They intensified MU track and lightened MU clearance. Not Fair, Not Fair.

I agree with you..I don't understand why people are expecting redemption when he is already guilty about everything..I think according to him what ever happened is happened and he can't go back make everything rite..he can do only one thing to overcome all of that hurting is by taking care of her, loving her and not letting her go of his life (since she loves him too like arnav and arnav knows that)..that is what he is doing..and one thing I really want to see is him confessing to her emotionally or romantically or what ever it is..
