Midweek: 'Jism - 2' slips after great start

Started with a bang on Thursday [previews; Raksha Bandhan holiday] and Friday, but slipped considerably on Saturday itself. Though most films witness a decline in business on Saturday, the fall in this case was alarming. The film, however, was better on Sunday, but lower than Friday, which, again, comes as a surprise, since most films fare the best on Sundays. Yet, thanks to the total accumulated on Thursday + Friday, the overall figure looks quite good. Collected approx Rs 20 cr to Rs 21 cr nett in its opening weekend, inclusive of Thursday previews

Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum

Got affected by the JISM 2 wave on Friday, but consolidated its status on the subsequent days, especially on Sunday, which, again, witnessed a healthy growth. Collected approx Rs 5.50 cr nett in Weekend 2, taking the 10-day total to approx Rs 40.70 cr nett

The Vigil Idiot: Jism 2

Director Pooja Bhatt's Jism 2 stars adult film actress Sunny Leone as an adult film actress (surprise!) who must use her biggest strengths, her body and her feminine wiles, to save the nation from gangster assassin Kabir played by Randeep Hooda. In the mix are also Arunoday Singh as Ayaan and Arif Zakaria as Guru Saldanha the intelligence official trying to hunt down this man. Now, I could say a lot of things about this film. But quite frankly, with a plot like that, do I really need to say any more?
