IPKKND - Dhadkan

So since yesterday I have been thinking about something, but now that I've realised I thought I may as well post it. I know everyone loves Arnav for standing by Khushi yesterday, but something seemed very familiar to me, then it clicked.

The film Dhadkan with Akshay Kumar. I've always said the character of Ram is the perfect husband, one of my favourite scenes are when his step mum is accusing his wife of being involved with his step brother and even though Ram dotes on his family he says he's willing to believe anything but not that his wife has a tainted character. Then when his mother threatens to leave the home he answers politely by saying whatever you think is best (Jaise aap munasib samje).

Yesterday watching Arnav do pretty much the same thing made me so happy, he is totally becoming the ideal husband, for me that blew all the SP husbands out of the water. In the next Star Parivaar awards if he doesn't win best husband I'd personally feel gutted.

Did anyone else realise how he politely put Dadi in her place, I loved his reply.

I loved that scene in Dhadkan! It totally made Shilpa realize what a respectful place she has in her husband's life and how she's taking him for granted! Not to hate on other shows where husbands literally let the elders of the family walk all over the wife but for the first time I'm glad they showed someone standing up for their wife!

Yes I think Arnav respectfully showed his Dadi her place, he wasn't doing it just to get brownie points from Khushi.
