I don't know about 'nowhere close to Shyamala's post', but perhaps it is true, but not in the sense that you so flatteringly intended. I think it is ahead of anything I could have done, especially in such a concise fashion. Seriously, Jyothi, I liked it very, very much, It is clear and comprehensive, and it covers all the relevant and all the ticklish points.
As for what Archana Aunty will do come Monday, does it really matter? I don't think so. Arjun-Purvi are now public property, so to speak, and even if she turns him down on a technicality, besides the fact that she will diminish herself in the eyes of many: Purvi, Arjun, Sulochana, DK, it will not bother the two principals at all. In fact, I suspect that even if Archana waives her challenge now or treats it as fulfilled, Arjun might still hold out for a literal interpretation and continue to plug away at his task once he is physically able to do so, as his adoptive mom surmises.
After all, Arjun will only have to spend another 2 months in the garage and his kholi, which Purvi and he might really enjoy a lot, as the earlier scenes we saw of them showed. As for us, once Archana's consent is obtained, Arjun-Purvi will be shifted out of the front and centre into the wings, as Vishnu, Varsha, and of course Archana-Manav take centre stage once more. So, which would you choose?
Archana, I do agree that Arjun might very well do as you think (or fear), but it will not matter too much even if he does. In any case, he is well over 21, and how you imagine that you could decide his course of action for him passes my understanding, when DK himself has no notion of attempting any such thing. Then again, while he is your ladla, a fact I do not question, please do not appropriate him so totally by talking repeatedly of 'my boy'!!😉Too much of possessiveness is generally held to be sign of insecurity!😉😉

I also want Archana to reflect or learn all the details of what happened pre-surprise engagement and post surprise engagement. I want Manav to 'remember' the surprise engagement and listen to Arjun's explanations. I know I am asking for wayyy tooo much here.
