Let me explain:

In leukaemia, transplantation is one of the procedures that could help cure the disease... But bone marrow transplantation is NOT the only type of transplantation... Stem cells (which is the active component) are found in (umbilical and placental/afterbirth) cord blood too ... Cord blood transplantation is a known method of treatment of leukaemia... Perhaps this is the reason behind introducing Jeevika's pregnancy?... Of course the chances of donor matching are less because the baby would be more distantly related to Manvi, but still...😊

Just thought I'd put the idea out there, because speculations on Jeevika's pregnancy and it's effect on Manvi's treatment are abounding...

Here are some related links in case anyone's interested in knowing more:

I think that's a very interesting idea and that could work really well in the show, it depends on the cv's and whether or not they know this. I just hope they've done enough homework on cancer, it has become slightly side lined in the show at the moment and it's a very sensitive issue.

Yes, this is the best possible outcome... I certainly wouldnt want anything to happen to Jeevika's baby...This way, everything might just work out... But then again, the likelihood of donor matching lessens as more distant the relation, but you never know 😊

Yeah that is one method..

but i don't think it will work here... as for the baby to come to the world it takes 9 months time.. only then the Cord blood can be collected.. and the match will be more for Jeevika and Viren more than maanvi.. and i do not think they will wait 9 months with the hope that the baby's cord blood would match Maanvi.. i don;t think Maanvi can sustain with cancer for 9 months..

they can always show about the peripheral stem cell transplantation which is the latest procedure followed in place of bone marrow transplantation ..

yea i was thinking the same about chord blood, etc. Otherwise, why would they have a need to introduce the baby track now during high tension.
