Actors in our country are treated as Gods. Their fans go mad when they meet their favorite actors, be it from television or Bollywood, but as per Rithwik Dhanjani, who's currently seen in 'Pavitra Rishta', actors in the television industry are taken for granted. The actor feels that no actor throws tantrums, it's just the way of getting things done.
Rithwik is working with Ankita Lokhande, who is famous for throwing tantrums on sets. When asked about his experience of working with her, Rithwik says, "For Ankita, I would say that she is a brand today. After you become something and throw tantrums, it is to get your work done."
As an actor, they go through a lot, he explains, "People don't understand what we go through. For media, we are throwing tantrums, but for us it's about getting our work done. Daily soaps are a routine thing. We go in the morning and come back in the night. I would say that actors are often taken for granted."
He adds, "I have been taken for granted so many times and that is not the production house's fault as it is a daily soap and they have to do it. The telecast has to go to the channel, if it doesn't, then the production house is in a huge mess. So, in that process everyone is taken for granted."
Point taken Rithwik! We hope the production houses are reading this one and will work in a more systematic and actor friendly way.
