I'm back and in action!

Have been loving this week! Its all a game plan, I know I love ASR too much and always find reasons to defend him, but Khushi really is giving him a hard time and he's just using his brain and his moves to show her the true light. I've always said he's a chess player and stratigizes his moves very very cleverly. He doesn't want to hurt Khushi or her family. He just wants to show her that he really loves her and she is belonged by him, this entire track and the next 10 days are him leading her to that path of her realizing just how much he loves her and needs her in his life.

He tried it the nice way, the Khushi way and ultimately the traditional ASR way, he knows how to get to her, her family and he himself are her biggest weaknesses. Today's episode reiterated that and did lead to her breaking point. He gets it and now she knows. Its a start.
He knows its the contract that's bothering her but he doesn't give 2 sh*** about what she thinks will happen after 10 days because as far as he is concerned, he will rectify the "mistake" by then and truly make her his wife.

But here's the game change, if there's one person who has potential to screw up his plan, its Shyam and Anjali will lead him into this game. She's on her emotional splurge again which means with Rakhi around the corner and Khushi back home, Shyam's return is very close. His return will cause mayhem like no other.
Arnav walking out seems more plausible now just because Anjali has gone behind his back and broken his trust. I will clap the day he drops her off that pedestal for a few days. He ruined the girl he loved for his sister, and now his sister has gone behind his back, broken his trust and shown her brother just how much whatever he has said and done for her mean very less as compared to Shyam. Thiss will be one epic face-off!

Yes, Shyam is dangerous and all, but Arnav won't stand living under the same roof with Shyam and definitely not with Khushi so Arnav will want to walk out. But, Khushi won't let him, and she will stay with Arnav in RM along with Shyam and Anjali because she will tell Arnav "di needs them and they need to look out for her". Of course, we'll also see a super-protective Arnav then!

As far as Rakhi is concerned, I feel 4 Lions always screws up with the essence off it.
Rakhi is predominantly a sister's festival for her brother. Everything in it is done by the sister for the brother. Like its a day dedicated to a brother from a sister.
Yet in the past 2 Rakhis, di has managed to make it about herself! They brutally sabotage it and then show a A-K rabba vey and expect to make dandy with it, but its still wrong at the end of the day.
Anjali needs to start being a sister. Arnav is the younger one here not she!
I'm sure every brother and sister who works on that set, somewhere shares the same sentiment. Lets make the festival even and not just about a clingy sister!

In other news, Sobti has cut his hair, he's defs got a trim 😊

Happy Rakshabandhan in advance! Hope you all rob your brothers nastily, I mean well!
I'm not spending it with my brother this year, but I do get to spend it with cousins I haven't tied Rakhi to in person in a very long time, so all in all, a good opportunity cost!

What an episode! I loved it!! It starts off with Khushi fuming mad at Arnav, she phones him like expected only to realize he's at GH! Arnav throws her words back in her face about writing her own fate and does everything in his power to destroy the fate she has written for herself. He once again awakens the part of her that yearns for him as he touched her neck, she is well aware of his intentions but is purposely turning a blind eye. Khushi continues her stubbornness and isn't willing to cave so he pulls out the family card knowing its her weakness, he didn't want to go here and couldn't even look her in the eyes but it was a last resort for someone who felt Khushi slipping away from him. He is desperate here.

Khushi has yet to learn her lesson about how damaging her lies can be and continues this pattern by lying to Arnav about being ready to come home with him when in reality it was stall tactic to buy her more time for one more lie. Khushi purposely chose to lie to him on the phone thinking he won't see through her but he has come to know her so well that he doesn't even have to look in her eyes to know when she isn't being honest. It didn't stop there for Khushi though, she continued the lies with the "injured" foot, which Arnav showed immediate concern for until he realized what was really going on. Khushi wouldn't look him in the eye so he pretends to hurt himself knowing she would come running to help him.

The following scene is what really made this episode click, it was the communication! Yes these two still have miles to go, but they are making progress. Finally Arnav told Khushi he knows why she walked out and the pain was evident in his eyes and voice about how she could let things end this way. Arnav wants her to fight and is hurt that she is ready to give up so easily after everything they've been through. Khushi tries to avoid looking him in the eyes, she's hurting too but she is intentionally pushing him away to save herself from another crushing blow to her heart. Finally he is realizing the extent of how hurt she is and now its his turn to share that pain. He now sees there is more to it than this contract and he needs to work twice as hard to win her back.

Another scene to be noted, Anjali finding out the truth that Bua is not sick. I expected her to find out but not so soon. It is just further proof that no matter how good Khushi's intentions were, it was wrong to lie especially about someone's health. I'm glad Arnav is trying to put sense into Khushi's head about it being time to be honest, she needs to hear this because right now she is doing more harm than good for all involved including herself. Fortunately for her, Arnav will be her support system every step of the way. Unlike in the past, I do believe this time he will not let her down.

What I liked about the episode:

• Finally ASR spoke about the contract - which is good... at least he has let Khushi know that he too is aware why she left RM..

• The scenes played out during the last 5 minutes was good.. both BS & SI performed well.. one could feel ASR's pain

• Anjali now knows that both ASR & KHushi lied to her - you may wonder why I call it positive...because I know there will be a big drama on the day of Rakhi where Anjali will accuse ASR of lying and he will have no option but to spill the beans about the contract.. then we will see a mangalyam thanthuhena kind of wedding. at least this is my fervent hope.. at this stage I am reminded of this song.. http://.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MxvGPxEUkB4

what I did not like about the episode:

• Even though ASR spoke about the contract he failed to reassure Khushi that he intends solemnising his vows with her... perhaps Khushi wanted to hear from ASR that he has now learnt to honour the institution of marriage much as she does.. a better script could have helped here...Perhaps he will tell her the same later?

• I felt the entire blame was shifted on Khushi during the last 5 mintues... it may not have been the intention of the show but that is how I felt while viewing it.. I felt Khushi was being made the victimiser here when all along she has been the victim.. he blackmailed Khushi with the truth.. I don't like this ASR.. the ASR whom we knew at the start of the serial, was honest, forthright man who fought his battles like a gentleman.. he did not resort to lies, deceit or blackmailing.. wasn't he the one who put her in this predicament.? so how could he blackmail he with the truth..?
  

• I could not understand why Khushi is reluctant to tell her family all that transpired at RM.. the Raizada's now know the the truth about Shyam and the reason behind the hasty marriage of ASR but the Gupta's are still kept in the dark.. why?

• Khushi's character is being ruined by the day.. where is the fiery and feisty Khushi we used to see at the beginning of this serial..? she has been reduced to a wimp ... this girl who stood her ground to fight ASR is now resorting to lies, tears and worst of all does not care about her dignity or self respect.. what is preventing her from telling ASR "go ahead please make my day by telling everyone that our marriage was a sham" ?
  

• I would like to see Khushi challenging him rather than being challenged or threatened... why can't she stand her ground now.. ? shouldn't she know that if not now, after 10 days the truth is going to be out.. ?

• All along ASR was going on and on about Khushi returning home with him.. yet when she finally relented, he backed off saying that he will come to fetch her tomorrow.. this was dubbed in as an after thought.. perhaps there is some catch here - my guess is as good as yours...😃

General feeling:

I am anticipating melodrama on the day of Rakhi... I am sure Anjali will cry me a river telling how her chote no longer remains her Bro etc., etc., etc., I do sympathise with her for her predicament.. I blame the residents of RM for not taking her to a psychologist or psychiatrist.. whomever is needed to treat her for her insecurities, depression and sudden loss..

ASR is a complete changed man.. by complete, I mean he has come a long way.. a man who used to use his dimaag now applies his heart too.. a man with a few words can now utter a few sentences... so why not share his pain and fears with Khushi...? I can understand Khushi's distrust in ASR.. she has been hurt in the past time and time again ... so she has her reservations .. the ball is now in ASR's court.. doesn't he want to know if she truly loves him? how could he force her to go with him without knowing if she too loves him?.. after-all, she may have her reservations after what transpired at the RM..

Like many of you, I too am eager to see what ASR will do next.. sounds more like What Katy Did Next eh? 😆

There is also talk of BS and the gang taking time off for Rakhi ...so we may see some filler episodes ...however the coming episodes, especially the next 9 days will be very interesting.. I hope the writers will pay more attention to the character of Khushi and not ruin it for us..

Reconciliation truly begins with an apology.. if ASR want's to mend his relationship, what better way to start than with an apology for all the things he had done to her in the past?

In Conversation with ASR, KKG and Anjali Jha...

whattay episode! is it just me or the TRP Maiyya kicked the story into 4th gear! talk about covering some ground at break-neck speed!
Today's episode stood out in 3 main components: Content, Acting and Execution.
Acting and Execution:
1. Superb performance by the leads! Both of them take a bow. Mr. Sobti - I have said this before and saying it again, hopefully a few years down the road you are able to look at Arnav Singh Raizada and appreciate what you have created here. SI is just perfection.
2. Execution - not as bad as yesterday but still some holes. Why is Babuji in the maternity clinic? Surrogacy still applies to same gender right? or am I missing something? Did science or medicine have a major discovery in the last 24 hours that I ignorantly slept through?
3. The last five minutes, I was craving for a close up of their eyes and also closeups of every time their gazes met and parted. I also wanted to see a lone tear fall from Khushi's eyes for added effect. Why couldn't you do that AK?
4. The very last line was an add-on for TRP reasons. Regardless of what anyone thinks or says, the number does matter. If it didn't, we wouldn't have flimsy and fluctuating tracks. More on this later.

Now on to the content, the meat, the story of today...
Lots of symbolism, deeper meanings and some 360s all packed in 20 odd minutes. The episode belonged to the writers.. everyone was just a puppet!

Anjali: Her world is shaken again. She is back in selective perception. She can only see the lies that are being told but doesn't want to dig deeper. She now feels completely betrayed. She has an open wound which needs to be treated. It also creates an opportunity for someone to become her healer. Now who heals her and how her wound is treated is yet to be seen. Notice how Nani also met with Buaji at the clinic. Will Nani catch on to the lie and help Anjali clear her misconceptions? Maybe. Part of me thinks, this time Anjali is not going to believe anything. Nani already gave her a clarification yesterday, but this time around it will fall on deaf ears. An excuse that Anjali just does not want to listen.

ASR - KKG:
The argument, banter, nok jhok that started with jabs at each other (and at audience) took a deadly serious turn in a flash. Here you were still reeling with a mini, very sensual rabba vey and boom! you were left with picking your jaw up from the floor! what just happened? Did these two actually talk? And talk about something meaningful? Believe it or not, they did.
ASR and his unorthodox ways were in full swing. He tried to coerce her by shutting basic necessities but didn't realize her ego is self-sustaining. He can cut off power, water but he can't blow the fuse of her ego. She will find a way to survive but will not fall for his antics. In a very subtle way, he reminds her that she belongs to him but only to be reminded back that it is a matter of days and the dust will settle. Still not getting through to her, what does he do? resorts to his ASRish ways and plays the trump card, family! BINGO! or so he thought. He is desperate, will do anything to bring her back, yet he can't lie to her face. Only looks her in the eyes when he wants her to see what he feels: "waapas aa jao meray pass" and that one last look of guilt said it all when he sees her locked out of her house, trapped, not being able to return to her so-called safezone.
What is going through her mind? ASR played a perfect rajkumar and shaitan but what did Khushi see? Maybe she saw both. Maybe she wanted to believe the rajkumar but her mahaanta got in the way and she chose to obey the shaitan. What shaitan didn't know, her obedience was a disillusion that he will step into only to realize he was wrong all along!
"Nahi aaoongi. Jub tak contract khatam nahi ho jata tab tak waapas nahi aaoongi". Because in her mind, if she can buy herself 10 days, everything will be a thing of the past. She will not be his wife and will not be a reason for any discomfort for anyone. Dust will settle or will it? Does she even stop to think for a second, when wind blows, dust flies, causes haze and obscures vision and clarity.

The whole reference to water and vessel was interesting. It could very well mean Khushi's vessel is already filled with lies, yet she keeps looking for minor ones to over fill it and get out of situations. ASR on the other hand keeps knocking the vessels over to uncover the lies - hence the spilled water everywhere.

The last 7 minutes of the episode saw some intense raw emotions, role reversals, heart-wrenching words and all that was unsaid but still communicated. Anger, frustration, denial, pain, loss, sacrifice, regret, disbelief, fear, worry - pick anything and you will find it in those 7 minutes. ASR who never believed in anything is now standing helplessly in front of his wife, pleading her how can she let their marriage end? The guy who never accepted the relation, never believed in the institution as it applied to him wants to fight for her, for them. KKG who holds nothing more sacred than relationships and love declares 'in sab baton say koi matlab nahi hai'. oh how the mighty have fallen and how the tables have turned! With this we have a full 360 of Diwali! Everything has been recreated and it once again, ends in pain and denial. He still thinks it is about the contract only and she thinks he knows the root cause - Di. They both are lying to themselves and to each other! Khushi's lies are transparent but ASR's lies are masked under his attitude, frustration and hurt. This scene goes in my top 10 best scenes of IPK. Something which has to be watched for emotions, expressions and the dialogues. Take away - Let's not play games anymore. Let's follow the path of truth. AMEN to that!
As for the last line which was added-on: 'Main kal subah tumhe lainay aata hoon' was a last minute addition to expedite the track, thanks to TRP Maiyya. Historically, tracks outside of RM (Office, GH) have always garnered lowest TRPs. If the TRPs had been 3+ the GH tracked would have stretched a little bit more but for the last 2 weeks, the numbers have been less than 3 so time to buckle up. Drama needs to be added to please the TRP aunties, 90% of the characters reside in RM and that's where the action happens due to the dynamics. Now what impact can it have on the story? I see two possibilities:
1. ASR goes back and has to field questions from Di on his so-called lie. Just last Monday, we saw him balance both Di and Khushi. He will be at crossroads this time and this wont be easy. Will he able to pacify her? What is it that he can tell her that will make her believe? Will she believe? What does it mean for Khushi? Does her entry to RM is delayed until Di is sorted out?
2. Does he tell everyone the truth? Does he bring Nani to GH, give Khushi the respect she deserves as the DIL of RM and takes her back?

It can go either way at this point but should be interesting.

The pain and anguish in the last few minutes inspired me a tad bit.

Wonderful post and fantastic pics, loved it😃. they truly are at a crossroad..

I loved today's episode; well balanced with light moments and intensity and a number of things came to the forefront and while the beating around the bush continued at least there was a start👏👏.

I now understand that Arnav is currently on "I'll bring khushi back home" mission. Once that is accomplished he will get to "I will win her back forever" mission. Yesterday the office scene just killed the whole nok jhok for me; today it was back to its usual charm because ASR was just being playful and enjoying himself. It was a complete play out of 100 ways to irritate Khushi, this time ASR style😉. I liked that despite his empty threats Khushi stood her ground, she is slowly beginning to see through his games and fake claims of harming her and her family. I liked how he caressed her neck and she was all breathless; it was a perfect action in response to why he was doing all this and he answers she knows why; because he wants her as part of his like as his wife present physically and emotionally with him❤️.

Absolutely loved the last 7-8 minutes; I am thrilled ASR finally dropped the pretense and clearly brought out the contract. He put an end to the games they are playing and openly questions Khushi. I liked that he used Khushi's biggest weakness (him) and broke through her web of lies instead of again playing games👍🏼. My heart broke for both in the conversation that followed: "Khushi ye sab hone dogi tum!? Humari shaadi yuhin khatam hone dogi?", "Itna easy hai tumhare liye?", "Ab humara inn sab bataon se koi matlab nahi hai.", "Koi matlab nahi hai!?". Atleast they are talking; pain and heartbreak evident on both sides; Both Sarun were brilliant and I loved Barun's voice modulation⭐️⭐️.

I so expected more from Khushi; why does she not want to discuss this? Why doesn't she tell him how she feels and how time and again he breaks her heart and crushes her spirit, why is her solution to everything a world of pretense and lies? I do not want the contract to be revealed to the families and I hope it is not; but Arnav even if under the pretense atleast suggested that they talk it out with the Gupta's, then why this self sacrificing attitude, Khushi? She clearly does not want to return to RM; how long can she hide the truth from her family, what story is she planning on cooking up this time especially when the family is already asking her to pack and go back.

We are heading to Khushi returning to RM and hopefully Arnav then uses the 10 days to actually show Khushi her true place as his wife in his life and home and make her not want to leave at the end of the contract. I really hope he can show her that she does not need to lie and pretend all the time and can open up her heart to him atleast. I feel bad for this girl who carries the burden of the world on her shoulders and no one around even realizes it😭😭.

I am actually glad Anjali met Buaji and the truth came forth; I understand her being upset that ARHI lied (though technically Arnav did not say anything about Buaji being unwell) but the "hamare Chote ab hamare nahi rahe". Khushi needs to realize that you cannot get away with lying all the time and hopefully a MU may actually bring the Anjali angle between ARHI to the forefront and help Arnav explain to Khushi that she is not responsible for Anjali's troubles, she need not be self sacrificing and they need to stick together to help Anj out.

R dont know when ill update but hopefully i'll get time to 😆Its gonna be eating time soon so cooking took a 5 min break cuz was feeling down ur post fixed that Sari 😊!! Awesome post as always!!
