He was just riling her about his the way he tripped. Was it her innermost desire the he befall and got hurt. Was she silently thanking her spiritual mother that by his this fall, all the sufferings meted by her because of him nullified. And the expression on Khushi's face said it all. She was again walking the path. The path of pain. For her when ever he suffers she suffers multitude. With all the limitations she has and take it into consideration she goes million steps deeper to ease his pain. She cannot see him in pain. Remember when she threw that hot tea on him, she couldn't bear the thought of hurting him.Untill she redeemed herself in his eyes and explained him why she did what she did she didn't breathe peacefully. Her walk with him during his troubled times had started from that day. OK coming back to Monday's episode (07/30/2012), she never caught him riling. For her it was accusations which she couldn't take. A layer of salty water glossed her doe eyes. She was holding herself hard not to shed them. She knew he was in pain and that alone was enough cause of her miseries. And this accusations. She asked him plainly Aap Ko Kya lagtha hai. Can I ever harm you knowingly. Can my wishful thinking ever be something that brings any harm to you. That is the depth of her love for her Arnavji.

Before he left for London, the whole truth about their sudden marriage was made known to her. She knew more than anything that had caused him acute pain. She tried every feasible means to convince him she was innocent. It fell on his deaf ears.He left her. She was restless the entire time. Her 6^th sense was screaming out loud that her Arnavji was in distress. She called him several times. There was no answer. One text message "Reached London Safely" was the very source of her oxygen. She was breathing because of that. And then that call. And his declaration of I LOVE YOU. She exactly knew the reason behind this. After this not even a second she wasted. She first went to police. That turned out to be a bad idea. Her next stop was Prithvi Detective Agency. There her financial limitations was the hurdle. She didn't rest. Then came Mamiji into picture. CC TV footage. The much needed information that indeed he was kidnapped. Then the unfolding of all the events. NK coming to her help. Nothing could stop Khushi to ease out her Arnavji's pain. When she was convinced it was Shyam who was the kidnapper, she had to do something which she loathed. Leaving her inhibitions aside, she enticed Shyam to fall prey for her charm. She had to get all the information from him and was successful in her mission. She walked the whole 9 yards to relieve Arnav's pain.

Coming to her current situation. She was told that somewhere behind all this fiasco, she alone is responsible. She had seen that pain in Arnav's eyes. The pain caused by Anjali's dejection. The pain caused by sister's distance. She was already blamed for this and now she took it upon herself. She made a resolve that she would walk out of his life to relieve him of his pain. And started a new journey. His resolution to get her back before the contract ends and her resolution to keep him at bay and never to cross paths with him so that he can be happy in his life. She is holding on to all of this pretty strongly. All his efforts to bring her back so far has turned futile. She is pretty determined. And the pain she is under going in order to relieve him of his is insurmountable. She knows her husband loves her beyond her imagination. She knows that he is leaving no stone unturned. Love and Pain are the different sides of same coin. Arnav is doing it for Love. And Khushi is doing it for Pain.

Evening Ladies of Redux,

I've been frequently visiting Redux for a while and have recently started joining in with the daily discussions. But today I thought I'd give a proper post a go. I won't be doing a scene by scene analysis, just pointing out things that stood out for me.

The transformation of ASR/Arnav has been a delight to watch. I loved the mazaaki mood he was in when he first got to the Gupta house, starting with his 'how will you make me tea if you haven't had any yourself', the 'uh oh - too late' and the 'tumhare iraadoh mein to such mein paani pher gaaya'. He had some killer lines today. The only thing I didn't like was his shiny suit – bleurgh.

Mrs. KKGSR gives as good as she gets. I loved how she had a reply for everything and her never give up attitude. Her 'haatiye humare raaste se' may just be my favourite line of the episode. Khushi is very expressive with her face, whether it's the widening of her eyes of the O shape her mouth makes which adds a little something extra to the scenes.

She hasn't learnt her lesson though. Lies upon lies. I'm not a Khushi basher but I'm glad Arnav called her on her little habit today and I'm glad the realization dawned on her that her family will be hurt no matter what once they find out the truth. Whichever 'version' of her truth she decides to share with them.

Just one question though: Does Arnav realize that once the families know the truth about the contract they'll be equally, if not more angry/upset with him? Is he ready to face the repercussions?

Anjali Anjali Anjali. After the whole Agra fiasco I was quite annoyed with the bratty way she reacted but today I actually felt bad for her. She just wants her happy life back and she doesn't understand why all those she loves the most are always hiding things from her.

Khushi's little fact about people who are lying don't look you in the eye was in full force throughout the episode today. First when Arnav was saying that her family will be on the road. He had to completely turn around so he couldn't see her at all, and his eyes were shifting from right to left because he can't intentionally hurt her anymore. Then again when Khushi is lying about her injury and Arnav tries to turn her face and says 'meri taraf dekho' – he knows her too well.

I can't decide which version of Mr Arnav Singh Raizada I'm more attracted too; the angry young man ASR or the cheeky, flirty Arnav. That neck touch along with his smirks gives me tingles. On the other hand when he gets angry and his jaw clenches, I go weak at the knees – haii this man will be the death of me. 😍

I did notice something else about Arnav turning her into Mrs. KASR but can't for the life of me remember – if it comes back to me I shall update. *scratches head*

Overall I thought it was a good episode that was well balanced. It had traces of humour, romance, drama, suspense. But in the past where such episodes left me with a smile on my face, this one left me with a heavy heart and a teary eye. These two people love each other so much and want nothing more to just be together but the circumstances they've both gone through make 'happy ever after' seem impossible. I don't know who I feel worse for? Arnav's gulp before he uttered 'khatham' just broke my heart, and Khushi's pleading look when Arnav threatened to disclose the truth to the family bought a tear to my eye.

@Anna - The news of you coming to London must've reached the skies. The Sun is out in full force this evening as I'm sitting in the garden typing 😊

My friends came over yesterday while I was catching up on the repeat telecast and I managed to get them hooked too. She called me this evening to ask what channel and time IPK was on and said she wants an ASR in her life. – don't we all!!
