pleasure meeting you, I actually posted on Redux for the first time, I love your analysis.

on ad rates, all episodes are charged, but the sponsorship and first episode are a package deal, thats why you see malabar gold in all first telecasts, while the repeat telecast ad rates are little lesser comparitive to the first one, and that too on Star the 7pm -9 pm slot is the most expensive as the viewership is very high.

If the TRP are less then the advertisers will start negotiating ad rates again and try to reduce the price. The average time is atleast 4 weeks, if for 4 weeks consecutively the TRP are down then there is a problem, but for the last 6 months I think IPK is garning around 2.5 to 3.5 which is OK.

But if they don't pick the revenues will be impacted.
