Y'day I had been speaking about reversal of fortunes , Today it is about merger !!..Merging of the characteristics of one's spouse without even realizing the fact !!..This episode was definitely better than the Baywatch episode 😉..I am not going to do any analysis but merely going to express my impressions
Arnav comes into GH in the dead of the night startling Khushi who has surrounded herself with all the paraphernalia to keep herself awake to aggravate & Annoy Arnav !! A Peeved Arnav sternly orders her to sleep , Khushi who is exhausted beyond limits and who was barely keeping herself awake does not need any urging ,, promptly drops into sleep right then n there ...Arnav quite surprised , graciously cleans the place up, carries her to the bed, gently places her on the bed, discovers that Khushi has a vice like grip on his Tee's ... reluctant to loosen the hold, he too slips beside her on the bed and sinks to a dreamless sleep ...
The changes, The changes that has come over this couple .. A man who frowned on all the things that flouted protocol is now himself breaking them by coming in to visit his wife of few months ...A Man who threw his wife outside exposing her to elements on the first day of marriage is now tenderly covering her up , protecting her from the elements ..A Man who was irked by her proximity now happily chooses to sleep close to her !! That slow smile of happiness when he tries to loosen the grip n her strangle hold continues ... The slow sliding of his palm into her's , her instant curving of her fingers around his palms, his eyes riveted on her glorious Visage , the look of utter contentment n joy at this new found bliss ..The sleep filled eyes soaking up her features, taking in all the contours ,, to dream about ...Beautiful !!
&& Khushi... A girl who would instinctively and Instantly do just the opposite of what Arnav says ...A girl who never has no second thoughts in bringing the house down, A girl who takes vicarious pleasure in annoying Arnav now obeys him without a murmur * ofc tiredness plays a part but she is known to rebel* ..Is least surprised when he climbs in thru the window , trusts him so much that she holds on to him even in sleep !!
Dawn breaks into the world , we sneak a peek into the world of lover's and discover them wreathed over one another , Her arms firmly enclosing him, stamping him n marking him as her man , Her legs resting atop his legs possessively chaining him not only emotionally but also physically while he lies there cocooned in her love, his palm supporting her cheeks n protecting that cheeks lest it gets roughened by the Pillow !! Arnav whose last vision was of this Child woman , wakes up to the first view of the innocently sleeping flower , trustingly holding on to him ..His growing wonder at this child woman never ceases ...Khushi flutters her eyes open like flower slowly n lazily unfurling its petals under the warm , besotted gaze of the sun ! She starts n jumps up on the bed like a clown released from a spring ...while a languid Arnav drowsily asks the reason for her Taekwondo poses while sleeping ..Khushi defensively points at his Hand grip !! The score is 1-1 !!
Yeh yahan par kyun Aisa soti hai !! ...That one word describes the mind of Khushi ..Khushi sleeps Like that in GH cos , she knows that she is accepted here with all her idiosyncrasies , The need for pretense ceases , The barrier ceases since she knows her role here, she knows her status here n has accepted whereas In RM, she is still person Non Grata !! A lady who still does not know what her position is ...Is she supposed to consider herself as the wife, lover, sister in law, sister ..when the very basis of the relationship is flimsy... The insecurity eats her up n does not allow her to put her guard down even while sleeping .. At all times she maintains a formality , A formality that only Arnav can erase & Arnav is willing to erase it n will erase it ... The scenes also showed how much Arnav values her n loves her...The unbreakable hand hold even in sleep is a testimony to the fact how indispensable she has become to his very existence !!
On being caught by Khushi, Arnav candidly admits that it is his habit !! ,, flustering Khushi with his candor ...He wakes up, gives explanation for his sleep over party , gruffly orders her to sleep , heads back to RM ...calls her up n keeps up his end of the bargain ...
A Laad Gavarnar who never deemed it necessary to explain his actions , now provides the reasons without any anger.. A man who had built a shell around his emotions , A young wounded Tiger who found it difficult to express even the slightest emotion now comfortably admits that he loves to hold her hand ...A taciturn who found it difficult to make small speak now finds it easier to make mundane conversations ...Love has touched him with her wand and he has begun to get animated ..
Loved the smile of affection on Khushi's face when she hears the strictures of Arnav asking her to sleep..
A Delighted Khushi receives the largesse of Arnav gleefully, content that she has got it due to her diligent work ...Tension & worry flies out of the window , the world looks rosy, so much so that she can even consider the antics of her Laad governor benevolently without a drop of wrath mingled with it ...But can such a state continue for long...Not in the world of this Human Tom & Jerry... Shuklaji calls and lights fire ..The Amazon spirit in Khushi awakens and she is on the war path !!
Khushi strides towards the office of the developer who has dared to mess with her family , demands a meeting with the CEO who has the temerity to increase the rent on the household but s is horrified when a indecent proposal is offered as a solution ...Not having the genes of Demi Moore in her body , the irate Khushi flies into the boardroom of the CEO n begins her dressing down of him only to stop open mouthed on discovering that the Indecent proposal was sent by her decent Husband !!
This was one scene which shows how alike they are when passion grips them, how focused they are when they have a goal to achieve ...Arnav whose Goal is getting Khushi back into RM by hook or crook leaves no stone unturned forgetting in the process the unpleasant consequences ..He does not realize that his words can be and will be misconstrued by the people who hear that ,,He simply does not give any damn importance to them n when epiphany strikes, he quickly points out that she is married n asks the subordinates to leave before venturing further ...Khushi whose one goal is to keep the roof over the head of her family , is chagrined and furious to hear the proposal, she barges in not bothering about etiquette , unmindful of the gathered people, not understanding the impression that will leave on the listeners,, Not caring about the violation of Privacy ..Her one thought is to hang n quarter the Man who dared to offer such a proposal , that the rest of the world goes for a toss !! ...Both are young, both are learning ..in due time they will learn the decorum of conversation too !!
The smooth transition of Khushi Kumari Gupta to Khushi Kumari Raizada happens ...watched in obvious amusement by the Original Raizada who has patented the throwing about of things when in tantrum ..His amusement riling her even further ..Khushi begins to throw things about , proving to her hubby how much he has seeped into her psyche, how much he is into her ...He sends her off , the smile of love n amusement lingering on ..which is wiped away when he hears the libelous comments of his employees ...The Husband is roused and he delivers his judgement swiftly, restoring the honor of Khushi, His wife ...
I just loved this scene cos it showed the class of Arnav when he states never to demean or speak vulgarly of Khushi or ANY woman !! ...His chivalrousness and his innate courteous nature was revealed today !!
The final scene easily one of the best scene and one which reflects the thinking of the middle class ...No matter how much they love their daughter, They are happy only when the the daughter, their Dhan adorns her/its rightful place ...the place by her husband in his home, their home..such are the simple aspirations of Parents, so are the rules of society maintained !!
