A young man is on the call at the same time checking some thing in a file.."yeah…I checked everything…nothing is serious…"…he closed the file n ran fingers on the keys of his lappy checking some thing."hmmm yeah I got it..no need to worry..you are perfectly fine…"…he smiled as the person from otherside complimented him.."hmm it's ok it's my duty"…he again smiled but his smile didn't reach his eyes…soon he ended the call n peeped in to the lappy…he closed the particular window which he opened n about to close the lappy but his gaze stopped on his wall paper…as always he lost in the person whose pic was his wall paper..

His hand automatically reached the screen and caressed her face with utmost love..a lone tear escaped from his eyes as he remember something..he closed his eyes while leaning back resting his head on his chair…

His thoughts broke when he heard a knock at the door…he opened his eyes n quickly wiped his tears…he straightened himself n said"come in"with stern voice…when he saw the person who entered his cabin with a smile he smiled back..he is MAAN..DR.MAAN SINGH KHURANA…

"hello dr.maan seems u r busy"said aadi who just entered the cabin with a smile…

"oh hello dr.aadi"maan wished back.."glad to see u here.. I thought you wont be coming today as u were busy"maan asked while offering him a seat with the gesture of his eyes…

"yeah I was but how can I deny my buddy's request…actually I was about to visit mumbai today to attend a patient…"aadi replied n he realised what he said…he saw maan face fell with the name mumbai…"maan.."he said in low tone…

Maan gave a meek smile n said"thanku so much dr.aadi..let's go then..ur patients are waiting for u" n got up from his place…aadi smiled sadly n followed him…

Later maan n aadi went to visit patients..soon they both are busy in discusiing about their patients condition n aadi suggesting treatment to maan…aadi is a psychiatrist who can handle patients with mental disorders very well..maan n aadi were class mates n most of the times maan approaches aadi to seek suggestion…..

When both were busy in their work maan felt a poke on his shoulder..he ignored first as he know that who is that…he felt it again n just mumbled"stop it" while his eyes were fixed in the file as if pretending he is busy…aadi looked back n smiled…this time maan received a nice blow on his shoulder.."ouchh..kya anju…what's this??"maan said making puppy face.."koi apne papa ko aise maarthe hai kya?"maan said rubbing his shoulder…"oh then why u r ignoring ur princess ha….anju will punish u for sure for this"the little chubby cheeked girl with a cute pony n wearing her school uniform said pouting her lips..her tiny tiny hands were on her hips n she is standing on one of the bed to reach his height…maan chuckled at her angry face n kissed her cute cute nose.."awww my princess will punish me..chalo ok galti ki toh I should accept punishment na..twll me what's my princess command??"maan asked her taking her in his arms n kissed her forehead…

She smiled n started thinking by placing her li'l finger on her chin as if thinking something…"hmmm…ummm….papa will come out with anju and and…she fumbled…maan looked at her suspiciously as he know what comes next…"and??"maan asked raising his eyebrows…."and papa…wo…"before she could complete maan said"no way for chocolates samji"maan declared his decision before she could ask him..she made baby face and asked papa pleej…..

Oh how could maan deny her now…his heart melted in a second..but he made a stern face again when he heard her coughing….he instantly rubbed her back n made her drink water…aadi stood there with a smile witnesing this scene n he could see how maan's face engulfed with fear with that small cough of anju..he knows that maan loves his daughter more than his life..he couldn't tolerate a scratch on her…his day starts with her n ends with her..maan's world is totally filled with his 5 year old daughter ANJALI…ANJALI SINGH KHURANA.he always saw a glow on maan's face whenever anju is with him n when she is not with him he'll be lost in his thoughts or else will keep himself busy in work…

Maan immediately took her in to a tight hug..he kissed her hair while rubbing her back…"papa chale.."she asked very cutely pulling his collar inside his doctor coat…"we are going to home now n no chocolates..see how ur coughing already..and no more argument now"maan said with an angry tone as he was worried for her…

Anju gasped with his loud voice n the next second her eyes filled with tears n she made a face looking at maan…maan felt like thousnad needles peirced his heart at one time.."god what have I done??i shouted on her"maan realised n pulled her in to a hug again.."iam so sorry princess..papa is very sorry…I swear I'll never shout on u..iam so sorry"maan said kissing her forehead continously….she is still in his hug…maan thought that she is angry but she is smiling as a naughty idea popped in her mind.."I want chocolate"anju asked ever so cutely pouting her lips…..maan who knew her very well shook his head in disbelief n chuckled at her cute antics…"hmm..u never change ha…ok then papa will allow u but only one not more than that..is it ok??" maan asked…

Anju stood up on bed n exclaimed"yayyy..sachii..thanku soo much papa..i love u…you are the best"anju hugged him tight by encircling her tiny hads around his waist n she kissed on his cheek...

"love u too princess…"maan said n kissed on her cheek.."pata hai papa anju missed chocolates since 2 days..u didnt allow me to eat...and u know.."maan again chuckled at her cute antics..."bas bas ab chale..?"maan asked calling her in to his arms...he then put her down n both went out from there forgetting the other world totally lost in their talks…maan as always lost in his daughter's cute antics….she held his finger in her tiny fist n both are walking out from the hospital..she is blabbering cutely about her day in her school…maan held her school bag in his other hand n listening to her every word carefully…he smiled at his daughter at the same time felt very happy as she is with him who became the reason for him to live…

"anju tum bilkul apni mama ki tarah ho..exactly a photocopy of ur mama..ur cute li'l nose,ur eyes everything..u r stubborn like ur mama..the way u talk with me in a commanding tone just like ur mama…kash o mere saath hoti but…"his trance broke when anju pulled his arm to take her in his arms by showing her hands to lift her up..maan smiled n took her in his arms…he kissed her cheek n walked out….
