What happened to all the other characters?

I thought of adding this to the CVs thread, but I decided to start a new thread...

Where are all the other characters that added so much to this show?

Chanda and Rattu - finally we see them after so long...doesn't everyone have a best friend? We alll talk to our friends...I would love to have seen more scenes with Chanda and Sugni...we used to see so many between them (and Tinkle too). The scenes were light hearted fun and so delightful...now the few scenes seem forced and the writer seems at a loss as to what to do...

TJS and Gulabiya and TJS's wife...we have some great scenes with these three characters...TJS's wife has completey vansihed as has TJS...TJS's rivalary with TVS was rather short lived...so many of the scenes between them really added to the core of this show...the lives of the Bednis...waht happend? We have not even seen or heard of his son - Sugni's half brother?

Haldi Chacha? Where did he disappear too? And what about the conflict between him and TJS...seemed like the story was going somewhere and the scenes between them were interesting...

TJS's son and Kuhu - what happened there...they saw each other at the mela and then what? Nothing...

And then what about the other Bednis?

I mean, this show had all these rich characters...it showed us so much of the lives of these Bednis and then as soon as TVS said I love you...we had some scenes and now we were sucked into this nightmarish Reva Manzil track from which we might never awaken.

I am not interested in Reva's character...this show is not even addressing issues pertaining to the mentally ill...Reva is created for pure entertainment...it is offering nothing to the show anymore...And Dhanuma? Where does she fit into all this - nearly everything she says is inconsistent.

And now we hardly see Jiji, her relationship with Kuhu etc...this show really paid attention to details and now its like a really bad drama that's all about some stupid secret - all shows on Zee are like that...someone keeps a secret and either they suffer with it, or make others suffer.

The ones I would really like to see more of are TJS and his wife. Both awesome actors, and the TJS-TVS rivalry was never fully exploited, neither was TJS's relation to Sugni. And I somehow felt thakurain would somehow get more screen space also because of her link with Haldi which made her like a chink in TJS armour. Their son was good too, maybe he and Kuhu could have a storyline. Reva is not working for me, if she had come after the marriage there was potential for drama there, but right now I just feel irritated with the storyline. I hope they show her as a fake set up by TJS with Dhanuma's help so we can return to TJS-TVS rivalry. Sugni can leave Vik for the time being, maybe even join hands with TJS.

The Reva track came and spoilt everything. There should have been more interaction with all the extended cast members like the other thakurs, their wives, the bednis etc. Why did it have to boil down to this family affair,like other serials.

I agree this show could have taken so any directions , and had so many story lines to tell. They sacrificed quality for stupidity as far as I see.
Instead of Vickram battling his seemingly non_ exsistant conscience these day with a mad wife...he could have been having it out with Jwala Singh,! Sigh!

I don't know if this post of mine fits here or not but nevertheless I'll put it here. I was going through all the TVS and Sugni scenes last night and I thought how it took so many episodes to develop this magical pair alas only to destroy it. If the creative dept. wanted an Adi Sugni pairing, they should have nipped the Sugvi relationship in the bud. Then we wouldn't have felt so bad. I'm so unhappy they're destroying TVS character; now what is he going to say to the other thakurs, they are just going to slam him. He has become a loser in every way. I think Varun should exit the show right now. Let Adi be the hero and do what he has to do.

I was also hoping to see more of Bedni life before the love story began or they could have mixed it with Sugni and Vikram love story like how they started out. The Reva track is irrelevant right now, that could have come much later since they are hell bent on proving their point.

The cvs are writing as if they are confused about what they really want to show us. So, they are watching trps, but they still seem unsure about their plans to begin with.

What is the motive of this show? Is this about Bednis constant struggle and one possible lucky girl? or just another sad love story.

Why bother speed up a love story to break it and form another, is this about Bednis or just another love triangle?

Writing about Bednis is an awesome idea, but why kill it with the same nonsense in other shows, love triangles, crazy people, what next? a haunted mansion?

They take a possible good story and make it just like every other serial. The cvs do not have a clear idea about what thinking outside of the box is. They took the step and then ruined it.

I too want to see TJS a lot more. I want to see his wrath about Sugni to be marriage. Him fighting against Vikram marrying Sugni, his daughter. etc.

I want to see TJS's wife bitterness some more towards Sugni and Gulabiya. I want to see Sugni and her friends.

I wanted to see Sugni and Vikram working together to end the nightmare of a Bedni's life, and falling in love while going through this, why could the cvs not start it out this way? They could have showed their struggles to get married without the Reva track.

I want to see the Bednis life style more and their individual struggles with this life. Choose a couple households and show their struggle.

Hillydee, Zeetv and the Creative teams were cheats. They sold us a story about Bednis and a character named TVS. BUT this was never their plan. They wanted a show full of drama with the back drop of Bednis...the show was supposed to be a bad Thakur does Sardakai on a girl and she is rescued by a guy named Aditya. They played around with the story; TVS/VB was meant to be that "bad" Thakur. Gulki/Sugni the girl..initially it was Gulabiya (yes, a couple of articles had her in mind)...so the show starts off and the relationship between TVS and Sugni is a HIT. The viewers LOVE it. And the writers get stuck. What do they do?

They test out the Aditya Sugni jodi in subtle ways...does not work. They have to turn TVS bad but the public love the seduction scenes of the dance, the rain scenes, the false promise of romance. They rush the romance so they can get to the romance they want to show - Aditya and Sugni...they move towards making TVS grey...they test the waters and the TRPs are at 2.6...GREAT. Now to push for the jodi...let's go all out and replaced Aditya...new face, new audience and perhaps this is what will work...The reason, the CVs do NOT have any idea what else to do...

And so now TVS is awful...someone in the team thinks...let's strain the jodi between Amrita and Aditya AND let's bring in Reva and see if we can something going between her and TVS...perhaps the audience might be sympathetic towards her and they might want TVS-Reva jodi...

And the Bedinis? O, yeah...the CVs think...we got to hint at them once in a while...let us just mention the word "bedni" repeat a few scenes to show we care...and let us move on with the show.

Seriously, do these people think we can even enjoy the Sugni-TVS jodi after butchering TVS and killing the chemistry and romance? I can't. This does not mean I am open to a Sugni-Aditya jodi either. I personally don't even wnat to watch the show..sad but true.

I would have loved to have the romance prolonged; TVS working with Sugni to help the Bedini community...Aditya against them...Amrita and him getting married...Sugni's father creating problems. Gulabiya not liking TVS would have been fine...conflicts galore...but this Reva track? It has become TOO much and Reva's character and TVS getting all ugly...NOT my cup of tea anymore. It is just to plain boring and disgusting to watch.

I could not have said it any better.

You are so right, this is the exact song and dance with the cvs. They are guided by the same approach by all serials. They come with an idea, but they have no intention of experimenting too much from the normal way of serial writing to cater to the mass.

They never once thought they could have done it their way and see what happens? They started out really good, all they had to do was pace themselves with the love story. Sugni and Vikram could have fallen in love just as quick, but they never had to get them together so early. However, as you say the plan was to make Vikram ruin Sugni and Aditya save her. So cliche😔 Why couldn't Sugni save herself after the break up, why does she need another man again?

This old way of love does not really exist as much any more. Now, women after a break up find some other meaningful thing to life. some take years before they give another relationship a chance. Some get hurt one time, and never try again. So this night in shining armour on a white horse is not the beginning and end of a women life any more. We have education, children, social clubs and many other things to focus on besides being saved by a man after another betrays us. Don't get me wrong, it is more relevant for a Bedni to finally live a married life, instead of a mistress, but why can't a Bedni get hurt and decide to look forward to other things in life. Give herself sometime to do other things, empower herself, then find a good husband. Why does she have to go from one man to another in a short time?

Sugni is 18 she has her whole life ahead of her, why can't she be shown helping Vikram fight for other Bednis. Take their power back from these Thakurs?

Come on Cvs, bring something new to the table for once, be different from other serial writers. Give another perspective to life, that is interesting, thought provoking, entertaining, fun, realistic, something to keep us glued to the tv instead of us getting a high in the first few episodes, and then bring us just another serial.
