Fekta Kapoor of Shri BABAJI Telefilms had first considered casting Saif Ali Khan in 'The Really Hungry Picture'.
Yes the one in which finally Chummi Hashmi ended up doing the role of Ajeebo-Gareeb Paagal Film Director, who for no apparent reason hates Silky Vidya Balan for first 13 reels of Film. Even more puzzlingly and most incredibly this crazy fellow ends up making love in 14th Meter mark of film reel to the lady.
Just in case you are wondering what is so baffling about it? -------Well----Silky Vidya Balan eats and drinks so much in first 13 reels, that she transforms herself into Silkier Vidya Bhaloo by Reel 14! š²
Chummi Hashmi finally, pins Vidya Bhaaloo down in 14th reel. I watched this movie in Cinema Hall and as if echoing my thoughts, a frustrated Sardarji screamed aloud,"Oye Khotte! Teri Ankhhaa foot gayi si jab kudi haseen si?š” (O Gadhe, were you blind when the girl was pretty and desirable)?---Well, 3 minutes of claps that followed in cinema hall, more or less confirmed it that audience was overwhelmingly behind Sardarji's opinion of the situation. Yeah, I clapped too.š³
Well, you get the message. Vidya Bhaloo does resemble a smiling water Bed and Chummi Hashmi does struggle to stay afloat in this remarkable 'love making scene'.š
When Fekta Kapoor first proposed Chummi Hashmi's role to Saifu, conversation went like this:

SAIFU (Shell Shocked, as if he just heard a judge pronounce death sentence on him): Oh----wow-----but not wow yaar.š-------------- Parineeta ke time toh theek thhi yaar, but no seriously. ...Now she resembles a huge Teddy Bear. ...No really, I mean it!...16 Saal Amrita ke hug kaafi hain yaar Fekta. Doosra Bhaaloo? So soon? ...Naheen jhel paunga yaar, no I mean it. Sorry, don't mind yaar.š¤
After this Chummi Hashmi was approached and as soon as he learned there are two smooch scenes in film, he bargained hard for 8 smooch scenes and finally settled for 4 agreed by Vidya Bhaloo & Fekta Kapoor.šš¼
This love scene between Chummi Hashmi and Vidya Bhaaloo, actually resembled a Telebrands commercial of a tempting water bed.

It is reported Vidya Bhaloo used to eat all the time during shooting of this film.
Not to upset Vidya, Kanjoos Fekta had to organize endless supplies of Dosa, Idli, Rice-Sambhar, Avial, Paaysum, Idiyaappam, Kottu, Chettinad dishes---you name it. Just as in film, Chummi Hashmi had lot of fights initially with Vidya as she not only ate all that Fekta had to organize for her but daily raided Chummi Hashmi's tiffin as well.
And incredibly again, just as in film, when Vidya transformed into a huge Grizzly bear, Chummi fell madly in love with her!
Everything changed. Chummi started offering to Vidya, not just his eternally protruded lips, but his well stacked tiffin as well! š²
By the end of film, Reel 16th, because of starvation, Chummi Hashmi had started resembling a malnourished tribal from Kaalahandi Orissa whereas Fekta had to organize 6 meters of Naada (string) length to successfully tie up the tent, they had to use as Vidya Bhaloo's Petti-coat.
Fekta was planning to use Chummi singing the following song. Backdrop was to show Vidya eating at Chains of Ponnusamy, Chettinad and Murugan Idli shops. But in the end, for whatever reasons, disappointingly changed the lyrics to ISHQ SUFIYANA!š¤¢
