All to just compete and get good rating's, these directors/storywriters will do anything.......and I mean ANYTHING (whether it be misusing or disrespecting one's culture and values) to justify their acts. By this I mean that they are using the sindoor (for example) as a justification to having pre-marital sex. Anyone can some and put sindoor in your forhead.......does that mean you should go and have sex with him? I think the competition has become rough and all these dramas have lost their meaning, moral and value. All these dramas have become nothing but a means of entertainment. I used to watch them thinking they set out a good example for ordiary people to learn and teach a lesson about life, love and relationships...........but I have to say........I was WRONG! 😡 I have lost respect for all these dramas (have had no respect for the directors) and hope they realize that they have turned a homely, sensible, family drama into a freak show.
Even though I am not Indian, I do understand the importance and significance of the sindoor and its meaning. Juding by how these dramas have portrayed it, its seems like some red powder that you put in your forhead for decoration.............or for fun (no disrespect here)😳 I am just trying to point out that these dramas are infact showing something that is terribly wrong (pre-marital sex) but try to make it seem alright by bringing religious, sacred customs (like the sindoor) into the picture.
