" Cadets..", Rajveer adressed to the cadets standing in front of him in a proper, disciplined queues," Jaisa ki aap seekh chuke hai,Hand-to-hand combat mein along with physical strength, bahot hi important hota hai mental strength aur uske saath saath..."

He was interrupted by some movement that caught his eye...

As usual HUDAGIRI was disrupting the seriousness of his session...

Huda, as usual, was irritating Naina, who was throwing daggers at him...as if, looks could kill, Huda would have been a dead man by now...

He shook his head distastefully...somethings never change...

" CADET HUDA STEP FORWARD...", he said sternly.

Huda stepped forward displaying a hidden careless grin..

" Cadet Huda will be todays volunteer."

Huda walked towards Rajveer, as if heading to get some award.

" I hope you were concentrating on what i said Cadet Huda..", Raj smirked, " And who better than you can volunteer to demonstrate this thing?"

" Yo bahot hi sahi baat boli aapne sirjee..", Huda said in typical hudaish haryanvi...and stretched his hand forward for the demonstrating the exercise as Raj put his hand forward.

And what seemed like simple handshake prior to the exercise, suddenly turned painful before he could understand what's that is happening exactly...

In the end all he realised was, his hand was twisted and Raj was holding him in a tight grip from behind... So much so that, he couldnt turn or move even an inch...and excruciating pain shot up through his body...

" Sirjee..yo...yo...ke kar rahe ho aap? Aap toh shake hand kar rahe the..."

" Cadet Huda, what i was saying was, along with physical strength, bahot hi important hota hai mental strength aur uske saath saath saamne waale ke intentions ko judge karna..!! Aapne opponent ki aankho mein aankhe daalke sirf apni fearlessness na jatao...balki...bhagwaan jo thoda bahot dimaag diya hai, uska use karo and judge properly what exactly is going on in your opponents mind...yaha judgement chuka aur tumhare saamne sirf do raaste hai...either DEFEAT or DEATH...",

" Samajh gaye Cadets??",and then increasing the pressure some more and causing Huda to scream, but looking cooly at cadets...," Aur aap, Cadet Huda?"

" Haa..sirjee !! samajh gaya.."

" Kya samjhe Huda?"

" Yahi ki...Captain Rajveer ki class mein no Hudagiri...only focus ! "

" Smart Boy !!! ", Raj said as he freed him with a jerk..

" Dismiss...", he said to rest of the class, " and Cadet Huda...10 rounds of the ground...NOW !!! "

Huda sighed as he ran to complete his punishment...

As he was returning to his room, he got a call..

" Haan bolo chaubey.."

" Sirjee ek lead mila...phone pe zyada nahi bol sakta...Academy ka ek orderly hai jo aapke office ke aas paas mandrata rehta tha...main ispe bahot din se nazar rakhe tha...aap abhi old city ke Croma mall ke bahar aasakte ho ? suspect abhi yahi hai..."

" Kya ?? tum usse follow karte raho...aur suno...durse...tum kahi bhi obvious mat hona...keep this in mind...tum officially abhi shimla mein ho...and hamein yahi maintain rakhna hai..got it? main bass abhi waha pohochta hoon."

and he hurried away...

Naina was talking with Aalekh in the corridor when they saw Abhimanyu supporting Raj...Raj was badly injured...

Blood was oozing out of his injury on the leg ...His elbows were also bruised and there was a cut on his forehead, which too was bleeding...

He was looking dead exhausted...as if he will collapse any moment...

Naina ran towards him...supporting him on the other side as he was leaning heavily on Abhi...

" Sir...", Naina whispered...barely audible...

Raj gave her a assuring look that he was fine.

But She was so shocked seeing his condition...

' Kahin phir koi attack toh nahi hua Sir pe?' , she said to herself.

Aalekh too rushed to help them.

They carried Raj to his room...

Abhi made him lie on his bed while Naina quickly adjusted the pillows.

" Abhimanyu Sir...yeh Rajveer sir ko kya hogaya?" , Aalekh asked Abhi.

Raj signalled him to keep quiet and not to say anything atleast in front of Naina...But he didn't pay heed to him as he himself was damn annoyed with Raj for this.

" Kuch nahin Aalekh... Captain Rajveer as usual apni parvah kiye bina ek lead follow karte huye chale gaye...I agree tumhare Captain Sir is a genius!! But I personally think he should have informed atleast me...agar unhe kuch hojata toh ? Theek hai...agar inki maane toh hum inki fikr na bhi kare...but uska mission pe kya asar padta? " , he explained how exactly was he injured, " and hang on !!! iske bawajood...Captain Rajveer ko sirf yeh regret hai...ki woh lead inke haath se nikal gaya ! Yeh nahi ki khud ki kya halat hogayi hai ! "

Raj was eyeing Naina for her reaction during all this...

Her face which was already crumpled because of worry and concern fell further with disappointment... She disapproved with Raj for this and it was clearly written on her face.

She was not looking at him...

He wanted to turn her face to him and make her look at him...But he knew he can't do this...

All this while he had no attention to what Aalekh was saying...

" Sir...sir...aap sun rahe ho? Kaha..." , Then he noticed where Raj was looking and smiled.

Naina, who was looking at aalekh as he was calling Raj , noticed his smile and immediately looked towards Raj.

Raj could see the concern and worry in her eyes...

And the LOVE...

Love for him was reflecting in her beautiful eyes...

And he smiled...

Naina looked away in fury immediately...

Raj sighed.

Abhi:- " Yeh Dr. Shalini abtak kyun nahi aayi? Hum dekhkar aate hai.."

Aalekh :- " Aap rehnedo sir...apun dekhkar aata hai..."

and he left the room.

Naina too. followed him outside,not looking even once at Raj.

Raj was disappointed.

" Yaha mujhe itni lagi hai aur isse meri koi fikr nahi...?" , he thought.

Abhi was talking to him, but he was not listening.

He wanted Naina and only Naina that time.

But she had left already...Not even looking at him once.

" Abhi...woh mere painkillers khatam hogaye hai...kya tum le aaoge please?"

" Hum abhi lekar aate hai...uff yeh ghav to bahot gehera maalum hota hai...dekho kapda toh buri tarah se soak ho chuka hai...pata nahi Dr. Shalini hai kaha..?"

" It's ok Abhi...tum tension mat lo. Main ek soldier hoon."

Abhi smiled at him and patted his shoulder before leaving.

As soon as Abhi left, Naina barged into the room.

Raj was shocked at her sudden entry.

" Naina..."

Naina was standing in front of him with angry face and both her hands on hips ,One eyebrow arched upwards and tapping one foot continuously.

Raj was happy just to find her there...

She looked too cute to him with that annoyed expression of hers...

He grinned.

" Main yaha aap pe gussa ho rahi hoon aur aap ko hassi soojh rahi hai?" , she asked angrily..

" Naina ...woh main..."

" Kya Naina woh main?"

He held her hand.

" Tum kyun itni tension le rahi ho? I'm fine."

This added Fuel to her anger.

She freed her hand with a jerk and...

" I'm fine...", She mimicked him, " Kya khaakh fine ho? "

" Nia...woh toh main..."

" Dont you dare call me Nia right now !! Jante ho na...jaise hi pyaar se Nia bologe, main pighal jaungi ! huh !! "

He grinned and was about to say something when...

" Aap kuch naa hi kaho toh achcha hai. Aapse achche toh chote bachche hote hai...aap toh un bachcho se bhi bachche ho...! zara bhi khayal nahi rakh sakte khud ka? "

" Tum ho naa khayal rakhne ke liye...", Raj whispered.

But Naina heard it. And she got angrier.

" Haan hoon na. Par meri sunta kaun hai?"

Raj looked up... shocked to see her mood changing from bad to worse.

" Sab jaante hai ki Captain Rajveer ek mahaaan army officer hai !! Phir kya jaroorat hai baar baar bahaduri dikhane ki?"

Suddenly her attention was diverted to his wounds.

She instantly switched from Shouting mode to caring mode and Raj heaved a sigh of relief.

" Dekho kitni chot lagi hai...aur...aur khoon bhi bandh nahi hua. Uff...yeh Shalini maam kaha reh gayi? Ab main kya karu?"

" Naina relax...abhi shalini aa jayegi aur dressing kardegi."

" Aap chup rahiye! Itna khoon beh raha hai...aur...aap ho ke..."

Then suddenly,

" RV...first aid box kaha hai? Main atleast wounds cleanse karke temporarily dressing toh kardu..."

" Nia...pareshaan mat ho..."

" FIRST AID BOX KAHA HAI!!!!???" , She literally screamed.

" second drawer mein..", Raj immediately replied, not wanting to annoy her anymore.

She brought the First Aid box and began dressing his wounds efficiently...

She winced seeing his injuries and thinking of the pain he is undergoing...

Tears rolled down her cheeks feeling the pain he was undergoing...

Raj was just gazing her lovingly as she dressed his wounds.

He didn't feel the pain anymore...

Her touch was magical...

He leaned forward and wiped her tears.

She forced a smile,but inside was very sad seeing his condition.

When she leaned forwards to fix wound on his forehead , Raj's heart began pacing at the proximity. he somehow controlled himself.

" Oh No !! ghav toh bahot gehra hai!!"

" Naina woh..."

" Aapko dard toh ho raha hai par manoge nahi..!!!"

" par..."

" Par...par kya? Kya kehna chahte hai aap ki aapko dard nahi horaha?"

" Par...Naina..."

" Kya zaroorat thi yeh sab karne ki haan? Dekha kitni chot aayi hai !! ??parr nahi...main toh Captain Rajveer Singh Shekhawat hoon! mujhe bhala kya ho sakta hai? Apni jaan khatre mein daalne ka copyrite hain na aapke paas?"

" Naina...bass bhi..."

" CHUP! Ekdam CHUP!"

And he shut up immediately.

" Khudko kya Hindi film ka Hero samajhte ho jo taang tootne ke baad bhi 100 ft chalang lagata hai?"

And she went on and on and on...

Raj was not listening to her anymore and gives up even trying to explain anything to her...

He was gazing her intently...lost in her...

When Naveen's words came to his mind...

Flashback:

" Woh meri chuhiya hai naa Naina...waise toh hai badi shararti aur khushmeezaz...parr jab daantna shuru karde naa? toh samjho hogaya! Kisi toofan mail se kam nahi hai...Aur iss toofan ko rokna mushkil hi nahi Naamumkin hai!"

Raj laughed at that and said,

" Tujhe theekh karne ke liye aise hi kisi ki jaroorat hai!"

" Haan...haan...Hasle...aur hasle! JAb tujhe daatengi naa ,tab poochoonga !"

" Arey yaar teri chuhiya mujhe kyun daategi?"

" Pata nahi...parr ... kabhi kabhi mujhe lagta hai..."

" Kya?"

" Chod naa...phir kabhi bataunga..."

PRESENT

" Nahi Naveen...tu galat hai! Naina ki toh Daant bhi pyaari lagti hai..."

" Huh? kuch kaha aapne sir?"

" Nahi toh...tumne kuch suna kya?"

" haan...shayad...khair...ab aap chup chap aaraam karoge aur kuch nahin. samjhe?"

" Yes maam! mujhe toh aisa lag raha hai jaise main tumhara nahi tum meri teacher ho!"

" Is waqt main aapki student nahi hoon."

He gave her a adoring look.

" Toh kaun ho?"

" Ahh...woh...mujhe ab chalna chahiye.Woh actually drill hai aur..."

Raj held her hand.

" Aur?"

" Aur kya?"

" Aur kuch nahin. Bass itna bata do ki tum iss waqt meri kaun ho?"

There was a mischeivous glint in his eyes.

Naina was blushing badly.

He slowly pulled her hand to bring her closer.

Naina's eyes widen in shock as anybody can come at this hour.

He was about to say something when Abhi entered along with Shalini and Nandini.

Naina quickly got up from the bed.

" Oh my God ! Captain! Aapko kitni chot aayi hai! I'm so sorry...I was not here...Mujhe maj.Nair ne urgently KMA hospital bhej diya tha...ab samajh aaya kyun?"

" Its ok doc...woh toh hai hi aisa..."

" Thank God aapne dressing karwaali", She said examining the dressing, While Naina gave Raj a sarcastic smile ,"Warna aur blood loss hota aur infection ke chances bhi...I'll examine your wounds ...incase stitches are necessary... "

" Well no wonder...maine toh tumhe pehle test me hi kaha tha Cadet Singh that you can join Armed Medical forces after your training.", Shalini praised Naina as she inspected the dressing.

" Thank you, maam."

Shalini examined his wounds for any stitches if necessary and then redressed it and gave him an injection for relieving pain.

" Okay Captain! aap abhi aaram keejiye. Aur haan...Khana aur medicines time pe."

" Yes Doc."

" Hum bhi chalte hai...aap aaram keejiye.", Abhi said.

" Take care Veer...Aur kisi cheez ki jaroorat ho toh bejhijhak keh dena.", Nandini said .

Raj nodded.

Everyone left followed by Naina, who was the last one to leave and had just reached the door when Raj called her...

" Nia!"

She turned.

" Can you come after your classes?"

She blushed and nodded and then left quickly, leaving behind Raj, smiling to himself...

Though Naina had classes to attend, she could hardly pay any attention.

She was distracted throughout her drill...so much that she was about to slip from the hill and would have landed into a ditch much below if Aalekh had not held her hand at the last moment.

she was so much worried for Raj and also tensed about the antics Maj.Nair was using to harm him. mere site of Nair was setting her mind on fire...

During the lunch break she was about to leave for Raj's room when Pooja stopped her...

" Abhi nahi pooja...baadmein. Abhi mujhe sir se milne jaana hai."

" Chali jaana. Pehle tu kuch khaale. tune subohse kuch nahi khaya."

" Mujhe bhookh nahi hai...main..."

" Dekh Naina...khud bhooki rehkar tu sir ki dekh bhaal nahi kar paayegi."

" Aur nahi toh kya?", Aalekh said who was listening to their convo ," Aaj hi tera taange tudwaane ka poora plan tha...pata chala captain ke saath saath tu bhi..."

Naina hit him on his hand.

Pooja and Aalekh pulled Naina towards the mess.

She somehow finished her lunch in haste.

" Ab jaaon?" , she asked them sarcastically.

" Toh roka kisne hai? Jaa na!" , Aalekh said chewing his food.

Pooja giggled.

Naina gave them a angry glare and left for Raj's room.

" Nahi Doc...please. Mujhe bhookh nahi hai...From morning i'm just sitting here doing nothing...I don't feel like eating..."

Shalini raised her hands up dramatically...

" Captain...agar aap khayenge nahi toh theekh kaise honge?"

"I don't know and I don't care...", He said stubbornly, "I'm fed up of taking rest."

" Toh aap aise kaam karte kyun hai?"

Both Raj and Shalini turned towards the voice. Naina was standing at the door. She probably has visualised the entire conversation.

" Ah! Cadet Singh! Thank God you came! Ab aap hi samjhao Raj ko...main toh thak chuki hoon.." , Shalini said and left.

" Why arent you eating? ", she asked while thrusting a spoonful of rice in his mouth.

" Tum hamesha mujhse itna gussa kyun hoti ho?"

" Aap harkate hi aisi kartein hai...".

" Okay baba !! sorry !!! "

She smiled.

She fed him another bite. He didn't even make any attempt to eat himself ! Right then he wanted to enjoy her concern...her care.

He wanted to enjoy the feeling of being fed by your beloved.

" Bass Naina. Aur nahi. I'm done."

" Arey ! Abhi toh soup bhi baaki hai! "

" SOUP !! NO!!"

" What No? Kya ab aap soldier nahi ho?", she mocked," Soldier ko toh nutritious cheezein khaani chahiye naa?"

" Nia !"

" RV please..."

" Uff ! Tumse achchi toh Shalini hai. Atleast I can bully her...", He said making an annoyed face.

Naina laughed and fed him a spoon of soup.

She made him eat entire lunch and take his medicines.

She cleared the portable dining on his bed and put it aside.

She was silent throughout this. Raj could see the lines of worry on her face and her tensed expression.

He made her sit near him and made an attempt to lighten the atmosphere.

" Kya baat hai madam? aap toh ekdam chup hi hogayi! Kahin yeh toh nahi soch rahi ki ab kis baat par aur kitni buri tarah mujhe daantna hai? Jaroor mujhe daantne ka aur mujhse jhagda karne ka koi plan bana rahi hogi. Hai na?" , He asked laughing.

But she just shook her head.

He tried again...

" Gawd! Morning me tumhara face dekhna chahiye tha kisine ! I was so scared! Kaise daant rahi thi tum mujhe! Naveen sahi kehta tha...ekbaar agar tum daantne lag jao toh bass...hogaya phir! "

" Mujhe kya aapse jhagda karne ka shaukh hai?" , She asked finally, her eyes moist,and tip of nose, red.

Raj looked at her hearing her reply. And when he looked, he saw a site that he hated the most.

Naina was in tears.

" Hey...main toh bass mazak kar raha tha...", Raj said looking at the tears daring to fall off her eyes.

" Mazak?Aapko yeh mazak lagta hai? agar aapko kuch ho jata toh?"

"Nia, don't worry. Bass zarasa khoon kya bahaa, tum itni pareshaan horahi ho? You are soldier...you should be..."

" Zarasa Khoon?" , She asked holding his collar," Aap zarase khoon ki baat kar rahe ho? I can't even tolerate a scratch on you and you..."

And she began weeping bitterly.

Raj hugged her immediately.

" ShShhh...main theek hoon.Mujhe kya hua hai?", He was trying to calm her.

But Naina's sobs were becoming worse. She was letting out all her fears and pain out.

Even Raj's eyes became moist on seeing the pain she was undergoing on seeing him hurt.

She clutched at Raj as if she would drown if she let go of him, her tears were soaking into his shirt.

He held her to himself tightly still pulling her closer to comfort her as much as possible.Wrapping one arm around her back protectively, he used the other to press her head closer to his chest.

He kept murmuring soothing words in her ears .

"Shhh, Nia." He told her soothingly, stroking her hair. "Everything is alright now. dekho toh main bilkul theek hoon aur kal tak toh ekdam fit and fine ho jaunga."

She tried to speak, but couldn't get the words out past her sobs.

Instead she kept crying onto his chest, while he kept comforting her.

" Naina mujhe sab se jyaada dard ye tumhare aansu de rahe hai. Tum jaanti ho na? Main tumhare aankho mein aansu nahi dekh sakta.I can't see you crying Jaan! "

He slowly separated her from him only to look into her beautiful eyes...which were now brimmed with tears, that were daring to fall, however hard she tried to control. He leaned his forehead on hers and they both closed their eyes...

" Stop crying jaan..." , he whispered, " Our love is not that weak , so that we'll be separated."

She tried to smile.

Her fake smile hurt him more, as he couldn't bear her hiding her pain and worry just to make him feel better.Well...Love is really strange...!

He wiped her tears with his thumbs and caressed her cheeks.

" Jaan tum jaanti ho na main tumhe dukhi nahi dekh sakta. Dekho Nia, we are Soldiers. You need to be strong. Agar tum kamzor pad jaogi toh mera hosla kaun badhayega...you are my biggest strength. You know that don't you?Aur agar mere hote huye tumhare aankhon me aansu hai toh mere hone ka kya...", but he couldn't complete as he was stopped by her hand on his lips, while tears still flowing out of her eyes.

He kissed her hand softly and she on reflex hugged him tightly, still crying softly, while he stroked her hairs to soothe her and calm her down.

She didn't notice when it was that the only sound she could hear anymore was his heartbeats where she rested her head. He didn't notice when it was that when the hand that had been stroking her hair slid down to rest on her shoulder.

Suddenly Naina looked up at him and their gazes met.

Her eyes were still moist, but now there was a sense of purpose in them,

" RV, aapko yaad hai ek baar main Maj. Bharghav ke saath aapke room mein aayi thi?New year's eve par?"

" Haan...Yaad hai. Kaise bhool sakta hoon main woh din? Tab tumne mujhse kaha tha ki you don't Love me." , He said pulling her closer,possessively.

"Aur aapne mujhse kaha tha ki aap nahiin chahte ki main har samay aapki ungli pakad ke chaloon"

He cupped her face and nodded.

" Par sach baat to yeh hai ki main aapke bina kuch nahi kar sakti...kuch bhi nahi. Main aapke bina ek kadam bhi nahi chal sakti. Nahi jee sakti aapke bina...Agar aapko kuch hogaya toh...toh main..toh main mar jaaungi.I don't want to lose you...I..."

Raj hugged her tight. He was overwhelmed.

His arm snaked around her waist, pressing her even closer to him so that he could feel the warmth of her body through his clothing.

" Mujhe kuch nahi hoga Nia. Main tumhe chodke kahan jaaunga? I can't afford to be away from you. I can't even breathe without you. You will never lose me. Main tumhara saath kabhi nahi chodunga. Maut se ladkar bhi tumhare hi paas waapas aaunga...tum jaanti ho naa?", he said stroking her hairs.

She separated from him slowly...

Raj cupped her face and looked into her eyes. They were moist and steamy and the expression in them were of immense Love and unquestioning trust.

Silently, she placed a hand over his heart, feeling it beat erratically beneath her fingers. Raj placed his hand over hers, entwining their fingers.

It took less than one second for him to lose any trace of reason or logic.

All arguments against what he was doing and most importantly where,flew out of his head.

He didnt care if it was risky inside the academy...

He gave a damn to the consequences if they were caught...!

All he wanted now was to shower his love on Naina...to hold her...such that never let her go.

He leaned forward and placed a soft kiss on her cheek. She clutched his sleeve, her eyes closed tightly.

He kissed on her forehead...and her eyes...and a solitary tear slid down her cheek.

He wiped it with his thumb.

Taking his hand off her shoulder, he used it to tilt her head up slightly.

It took less than a second to close the distance between them, and his lips met hers, softly brushing against them.

He leaned his forehead against hers, and sighed deeply.

Just then there was knock on the door.

They came back to the reality and Naina quickly separated from him.

" Come in! " , Raj was irritated at the intruder.

" Kaise ho Raj?" , Abhi entered.

" Kaise ho sakta hoon chauhaan saab? Aap sab ne to jaise mujhe house arrest main rakha ho!"

Abhi laughed.

" Ab galati toh aapki hi hai."

Abhimanyu left after ensuring Raj's health.

" Achcha,ab main chalti hoon."

" Itni jaldi? Thodi der ruko naa.", he said sadly, " We don't get much time to spend alone."

" Actually, captn. Nandini ki class hai."

" What ? to yaha kya kar rahi ho? Run girl !"

Naina shook her head in disbelief.

She left after ensuring that he will rest , as she had a class and she knew even Raj won't like it if she missed a class.

Entire day someone or the other used to visit Raj to enquire after his health...

He being a favourite teacher, almost all the cadets had paid him visit including his favourite six who visited him every now and then...

Finally Shalini made him Sleep almost forcefully...as his body needed rest.

In The Night:

Naina entered Raj's room along with other cadets..

She managed to stay behind for a while with the help of Aalekh and pooja.

" Yeh kya hai?"

" Haldi waala doodh."

Raj made a dirty face.

" Yuck...i don't like it."

" RV... baat pasand yaa napasand ki nahi hai. Now come on! medicine samajh ke pee lijiye!"

" Nia...No! please mujhpe itna zulm mat karo!"

" But RV... "

" Naina! No means No! Main itni ghatiya cheez nahi peeunga!", Rajveer said stubbornly.

" Haan Haan Haan...Aapko toh PEENA HI padega!" , she was equally or in fact more stubborn than him!

" Cadet Singh! this is an Order! ", He tried making a futile attempt.

" RV pleaseee" , she pleaded making a puppy face as if her everything depends on Raj drinking the milk.

Raj saw her face and raised his hands skyward dramatically,

" Hey Bhagwan ! bilkul apne bhaai par gayi ho! Ziddi!"

How can he ever refuse her?

She smiled cutely at him.

Raj took the glass , pressed his nostrils and finished the entire glass in one go!

" Eewww...pathetic!"

" I know..." , Naina giggled.

" Hogayi tumhari manmaani?"

" Yes!"

Raj made a face at her when he heard laughter at the door.

Shalini entered.

" Very Good Naina! Agar tum issi tarah dekh bhaal karti rahi toh I'm sure Captain bohot jald theek hojayenge!" , Shalini said patting her shoulder.

" Ahh...thanks...", naina said slightly blushing.

" okay captain...i think aapko rest karna chahiye. Captn. Abhimanyu aapke saath rahenge...aur agar raat ko koi problem hojaye toh please...don't hesitate."

" take care, Sir."

Naina and Shalini left as Abhi came.

Raj watched Naina go, his heart full of love and content.

Sleep was far away from Raj's eyes that night...

He was thinking about Naina...

Her concern...Her Care...

Her scoldings...

Raj had been injured several times before...But he was never ever taken care of like this...

Nobody pampered him like this before...

Raj smiled to himself.

She was taking care of him like a loving wife!

That was what He ultimately wanted in life!

He smiled again...

Naina sneaked out of her room...

There was no sleep in her eyes tonight...

She was dead scared about Raj's health...She didnt want to lose him now.

She just wanted to have a glimpse of him to assure herself.

she has heard Shalini maam telling Abhi to keep the Door of Raj's quarters unlocked so that she can come and check him without disturbing his sleep.

Naina slowly pushed the door of his quarters to find...

" Naina tum? iss waqt?? Itni raatko?"

She was startled. She didn't know what to say...

" Woh RV main...bass...ek baar...bass yunhi...woh aap theek toh ho na ye dekhne...i mean koi problem toh nahi naa...bass...main to aise hi..."

She was talking incoherently...as she was so shocked to find Raj wide awake in the living room!

He had come in the living room as he was not able to sleep...

He tried passing his time watching T.V but he didn't find anything worth watching...

He thought of calling Naina on pooja's mobile but dropped the idea...and now was thinking of what to do next when Naina entered suddenly...

" Ah...main chalti hoon..."

" Naina Ruko!"

She stopped.

" Mujhe bhi neend nahi aa rahi hai...thodi der ruk jaao naa..."

She smiled and went upto him.

" Parr RV aapko toh rest ki jaroorat hai."

" Oh please! Ab mujhe neend nahi aarahi toh main kya karoon?"

" Aur aapko neend kyun nahi aarahi?"

What was he supposed to tell her? That because of you I have lost my sleep and sanity? That i see your face whenever I try to close my eyes?

" RV !! Please take some rest."

" Phir wahi baat!" , Rajveer snapped, " maine kaha na tumhe ki neend nahi aarahi!"

" Toh aap ye chahte hai ki mujhe punishment ho?"

" WHAT???"

" Haan...aur nahi toh kya? Ab dekhiye...jab tak aap so nahi jaate main yaha se jaanewali nahi...aur agar Maj. Nair ne mujhe lights out ke baad dekh liya toh..."

" Parr mujhe neend nahi aa rahi hai naa?"

" Dekhiye RV, agar aap nahi soye na...to main...toh main..."

" Toh tum?"

" Ahh.. Haan...toh main aapse kabhi baat nahi karungi!"

" Naina???"

" Haan...bilkul main aisa hi karungi!"

" That Moron is snorring loudly in my room and I"M NOT ABLE TO SLEEP! ", He shouted referiing Abhi.

Naina laughed and shook her head.

She made a bed for him in the living room and helped him to the bed.

She was covering him with a sheet when Raj thought something...

" Nia, dekho agar tum mujhe zara bhi pyaar karti ho toh sone ke liye force nahi karogi."

Now Naina was trapped.

And Raj was grinning coz this meant she'll stay here for some more time, as she herself has said that she won't leave till he is asleep.

But...she was Naina, afterall...

" Aap meri zarasi bhi baat nahi maante naa? Theek hai...agar aapko nahi sona toh naa sahi. Aapki tabiyat kharab huyi toh dukh toh mujhe hoga na? Aapko kya?" , she asked making a sad face. She knew, he can't see her sad.

" Uff !! tum bhi naa ! hamesha apni manmaani karti ho! ", Raj said while preparing to sleep , " Pata nahi kaise, hamesha mujhse apni baat manwa hi leti ho.Okay...I'm sleeping now. happy?"

Naina hid her smile.

" Abhise yeh haal hai toh pata nahi aage mera kya hoga...", Raj muttered.

Naina laughed at that.

Raj just started his chatting and Naina without even saying a word just listened to him.

After half an hour he went to sleep and Naina sat there watching him sleep peacefully.

She lovingly caressed his forehead and run fingers in his hair.

She ensured him asleep and slowly left the room without making noise leaving Rajveer in deep slumber with a smile on his lips...
