yes... i saw the episode....and i probably have never been so dejected ever since i started watching JJKN...Sorry, contrary to yesterday, I dont have any humour left in me today....
Before, I proceed any further, I would like to clarify one thing... In my 2 writeup on the sindoor photoshoot episode, I had expressed my views as to how I felt that they had probably had a french kiss ...or... something on similar lines...I never in my wildest dreams thought they would go the whole hog....
today, I saw many members raise up the question "How could they do it in a studio...ugh....so unromantic" ....believe me, if they had shown me an extremely romantic scene that would shame the romantic scenes in movies like the Titanic, it would still have made no difference to me. Romance is not about having it in a studio or in a car. If they were married and they showed me a kitchen first night, I would have still followed it enjoyably.
Romance or lust as we may call it, can occur anywhere and at anytime...it is an animal instinct. however, what differentiates us from animals is that we follow certain principles in life, control our emotions and channelize them.
One may think, especially when compared to westernized views, that what I feel is pretty narrow minded. call it what you may, but this is how the Indian way of thinking has been ever since. Jassi's family seems very very middle class Indian and way more orthodox than the average Indian family in the cities today. If forward thinkers like us would shudder and think twice before we do something like this, how could a simple girl like Jassi agree to it?
I must say it is pretty strange how 2 minutes of an episode could negate 8640 minutes of 288 episodes in the past 1 and a half years
The good ones to look our for in today's episode -
1) If you want to see the episode see it for Raj. There may not be many more glimpses you get to see of him
Touching dialogues made up by Raj or Touching dialogues made up for Raj
2) Puru's "laakhon main ek baat" that CJ suits Mallika
3) Armaan getting jealous of CJ and Jassi and a couple of their moments/dialogues in his cabin
The only thing that T&D could do to stitch up the wounds that we fans have endured, would be to get Jassi and Armaan married ASAP. However, even then, healed wounds would leave behind the scars of the torture that was unleashed.
If they decide not even to do this..... then God save our souls, all I can say is that, I would have no inspiration left for any more 2 of mine...
