Why ASR and Khushi work on screen

I never would have wanted ASR to mellow down for his wife. It just wont be him. At the same time, just because ASR is arrogant and quite an ass sometimes (mm all the time) doesnt mean he cannot love or woo his wife. He should be shown to think that he owns Khushi and Khushi rebels against being reduced by him to his object of ownership/desire...

What I would like to really see is at some point- Khushi's character is built into a strong girl and a bigger person than ASR who understands ASR and shows him that well...she is a better person than him.

Even for the redemption that Khushi deserves, I would love for ASR to be a flawed arrogant jealous possessive lover. I would like for him to think that of course he is sorry and of course what he did was wrong, but now...now that "he" loves her...she "should be" with him...I would like him to be unable to communicate his love out of his arrogance and perhaps even forcing/imposing his personality upon Khushi while Khushi is all but too strong to simply cave in, and instead comes out as a bigger stronger better person. That should keep the sparks flying on IPK screens for a looonnnggg time.
