Next Day...
It was a bright morning promising a wonderful weather during the day...
Veer left early morning to attend his meeting in Mumbai...he knew he would return the next day once he completes his pending work with the new venture.
Kaka tried to think over whatever Veer told him the night before... it was impossible to even imagine such situation... one similar face, two different identities...one living and other extinct... how can this be possible...in his entire life he had never heard such strange thing...
Veer never lied to him...he must have seen this remarkable truth... but the most disturbing thought was if that soul did any harm to Veer... suddenly he remembered Acharya Ji words...
"this soul is waiting for Veer since ages"
The old face showed some more wrinkles as he thought more and more...he shouldn't have let him go to Mumbai alone... if Veer had already felt something unusual around him, that means this soul might be following him...

"But Mom...i wish to visit now ..." hesitant about asking her family again...
Meenakshi got pestered by Chandni's idea of visiting Rajasthan... she would never assent to this request, although Meenakshi had never refused to any of Chandni's request's till now but this time she candidly abraded her intention of leaving alone...
Simultaneously agitated at Chandni for putting screws at everyone Kamini exasperatedly frowned at her "what rubbish...how many times do we have to repeat it to you Chandni...???"
Shama contemplated for Chandni who did not eat anything... "oh you poor thing..." gaped at astonishment "why? Why can't she travel alone...??? what's the matter??"
Meenakshi took a deep breath before giving a run-around "aunty...its not safe...i mean look at the distance...how can I let her travel alone?"
It wasn't easy to persuade Meenakshi and Kamini...but Shama tried her best...after a complete debate for half an hour finally it was agreed that Shama will go with Chandni...
Chandni delightfully walked up to her room and looked at the stones... her heart was somehow filled with happiness as if she was going to achieve something... she touched the letters on the stone... "Mehrangarh..."

Few hours later
Maneka reiteratively dialed Chandni's no... ….she was hit like ton of bricks after watching the news flashing since last ten minutes... "pick up the phone Chandni??" like a sudden frenzied panic-stricken animal she rushed from one corner of the room to another...
finally Chandni finished her breakfast, she was about to leave when she heard her phone vibrating in her bag...
"Hi Maneka...i will reach in half an hour"
"where the hell had you been...i am trying since last ten minutes..." Maneka blasted...causing worrisome environment around her...
"stop acting like you have ants in your pants...now tell me what is troubling you??" Chandni shouted...
"turn on the T.V...you must watch this news..." Maneka yammered making Chandni furious...
Chandni picked up the remote "news channel??"
"yes...fast" Maneka said impatiently...
Chandni watched the news …..
Once a happy realm, it has now fallen upon hard times accompanied by sinister events...Although the village lands support agriculture... the harvested grain inexplicably self-incinerated overnight. Those who left Mehrangarh assuredly meet financial or personal ruin outside, and those who are staying are plagued by the suffering of a bleak and hopeless existence...
"Did you heard the news ??" Maneka repeated again making sure Chandni is aware...
It was unbelievable for Chandni as she just spoke to her Mother this morning about her visiting Rajasthan
"Maneka...i don't know what's..."
Maneka frowned "Chandni...don't you understand...you shouldn't go to Mehrangarh...just leave it...the place is just not good..."
Chandni couldn't believe what she had just seen... the news clearly depicted of Mehrangarh's situation... she could see houses destroyed and people struggling all over the place... for a minute she was stagnant...clammed up completely from the outside world...
"hello...Chandni...hello??"
Chandni came out of her thoughts..."Maneka, I will meet you in college..." she disconnected the phone and left...
Chandni didn't feel like driving...she wanted to walk the narrow path, she couldn't understand her situation, a few days back everything was alright...she decided last night to see Mehrangarh and today morning she heard such news...
her mother would never let her make her way to Rajasthan if she gets to know about this... and her Grandmother, she wouldn't even let her step out of the house... but there was something afflicting her, she couldn't discuss with anyone...it seemed something was stopping her from visiting Mehrangarh...or it could be some other reason...
soon she reached the college gates but her mind still wandering deeply in her own thoughts...
Maneka rushed at the gate "Chandni...what are you thinking??...just forget about going to Mehrangarh..."
"lets go to the class...we are getting late..." Chandni became morose...
She envisaged continuously thinking about stones that revealed about Mehrangarh and finally when her family agreed for her visit, this situation occurred... making her even more curious about going to that place... it was giving a clear impression that something harmful or evil is happening or will happen...

It was late evening
Veer was driving back home from a busy day...when her sudden eyes fell on him... she simpered as she was desperate for him...
As soon as the car reached the mansion...Veer saw a flashlight behind …. he turned and looked at the car with flashing headlights...
Dolly stepped outside...she always looked seductive... her red saree with sleeveless and deep blouse made her more enticing... her fair waist was clearly visible through her transparent outfit... she approached Veer who watched her coming closer... "hi Veer..."
He replied back with a straight face... "hi..."
she hugged him... "never saw you again after that night..." she kissed him on the cheek... "as usual you look so hot Veer..."
Veer ruptured "Stop it"
she could see a big frown knitted his forehead... "What happened Veer...?? I was just greeting you"
he looked at her fair color...her deep red lips... and eyes with full make up... "i hate people who come uninvited" he said firmly and walked towards the main door...
Dolly smiled and walked after him... "Veer...listen to me...at least once..."
Annoyingly he turned towards her …. waiting for her to complete her sentence...
"Veer...i just want you...i can't forget that night when we were together and..." before she could complete the remaining words he raised his hand in fury making her pause in between...
"I don't want to end up spoiling my mood...now shut your mouth and get lost" he walked towards his room when she spoke again...
"every boy dies to talk to me and you are leaving me Veer... I can't live without you" she pleaded...
"then die" he replied while going up the stairs least bothered about her presence...
Dolly knew it was hopeless to talk to him as he does what he wants to...she had no choice but to leave...he knew very well how to show her the door...

Chandni after so long finally felt assertive of her decision...
"Maneka, I have decided...i will surely visit Mehrangarh...no matter what happens...this place wants to tell me something and I want to know why this stone came in my way and what is causing disaster or inauspicious circumstances" Chandni explained Maneka who tried to convince her to forget about the evil place...
Before Maneka said anything Chandni had cut off the phone...
Chandni was somehow sure that the unusual happenings that took place in her life recently and this place are related...she had never been to Rajasthan nor any of her family members had ever visited the place before...but still there are some things that she needs to find out...
Playing with her phone she looked at Veer's no and thought of telling him but then her mind wasn't fully prepared to describe any situation because she herself was unaware of some things that were still hidden...It wasn't an easy situation...and Veer, being rational will never believe her...
Veer heard few rings while he poured some alcohol in his glass...this was his fourth drink...
he dialed her no...
"why did you disconnected the phone??"
"nothing...ummm...what are you doing..??" she suddenly changed the topic, making sure she doesn't utter anything nonsense...
"well drinking...what else..." he said very casually...while Chandni huffed like a turbulent ocean...
At once she spited and blowed up at him... "don't talk to me...i just hate when you drink...disgusting." thereupon indignantly throwing her phone away...
"Chandni...stop being so finicky..." Veer gave a stern look... "i assure you will regret this time"...and gulped the entire drink down his throat...
