Hi Everyone,
I recently joined the forum. I was going through all the discussions, debates and the polls abt PSH and very much excited. So delayed to say greetings to everyone. Iam watching PSH right from the 1st episode and I love Varun & Gulki and Narayani though.
The very concept of PSH is to expose the customs of "RAI & SARDHAKAI" which are still prevailing somewhere in the society. The serial is set to show the sufferings of the Bednis, through the central character Sugni, who is protogonist and dreams of a marriage and a dignified life.
Eventually she falls in love with TVS, who had bitter first marriage, and is now experiencing true love from sugni. I read one of the promotional articles about the show that TVS even though he does'nt believe in these rituals, was forced to do ""sardhakai"" to sugni inorder to save her from the clutches of other thakurs. But after he falls in love for sugni(one way), and Adi to save her and finally get married to her.
But now the CVs are showing and building a potential strength of the bond between SUGVI before the SARDHAKAI. I think we, as audiences are giving top priority to SUGVI jodi and not to Adi-Sugni jodi, they have changed the story and shifted the male lead from Adi to TVS. Means SUGVI has to go through these two rituals(R&S), and the heart break, the deception(for sugni), and the pain, the seperation(for sugvi). That could be the dark part ie., the passing night of their relation. Then only the title"PHIR SUBAH HOGI" - the marriage and a happily ever after bright future can come into their lives.
But what happens to TVS wife, and how he will do the Sardhakai(In what circumstances) to Sugni depends on the way that the CVs unfolds and portray the story in the coming episodes.
For me, am just crossed my fingers and waiting eagerly for later episodes.
