To stand up for what s right has yet to catch up in India where tolerance is considered as as virtue.

Fact is stranger than fiction 😆
people here mostly think about themselves,"they are more important than any thing else",then comes their family, bas iske aage ek minute,ek sec bhi waste nahi karte kuch aur soch ne ki..
i think the solution 2 this kind of attitude will b "change"...these ppl can change if we speak out, say sumthing, galthi ko sabke samne batane zarurath hain ki 'yeh galath bath hain'...i agree indians mein patience bahut hoti hai par itne nahin ho ni nahin chahiye ki "apke legs pe koyi khulhadi mare toh usse na roke""kuch badal na hain toh pehle yeh badlao khudse shuru ho ni chahiye"...we need to change, hume sach aur correct baat bolne walo ki number increase karni chahiye, jab aisa hoga this "sab chalta hai wala attitude chala jayega"...{kuch galat hindi leke toh maaf karna aaj zara hum hindi bhasha ke moh mein hain😎

basically it is just a mechanism by which we keep ourselves satisfied in matters where we are unable to do anything or do not want to do anything. when we are forced we do away with such attitude lol.dil behlane ke liyan khiyal aacha hai.

Lubelskie is the undesputed, poorest part of Poland. You can search pictures of visit if possible in future? 😊
Please dont think I am comparing or demeaning. I have no such intention, but I just took to opportunity in an Indian atmosphere to voice my opinion to the youth (I believe most here are youth).Poland have been occupied and it went through massacre by the German occupying forces, and later Stalin and his aides. We have faced challenges, but some how, education+hygene+food was always secured, through ups and downs, we can say that we were able to recognize these requirment and worked hard to secure it. Most of our elections and our primary agendas throughout history (modern and ancient) have been based on these factors. However, my perception of India was that people there are more concerned about many other issues than these core things to address a nation.India has major problems with its neighboring countries over issues such as religion and a disputed land. Some how, increasingly this issue is exploited by politicians and even the entertainment industry for their own benefit. I don't know why Indian people allow this. While we in Poland have very bad history with Germans and Russians. We have border and other issues with both Russia and Germany (e.g. Silesia region and energy issues), but still German, Russian and Polish people are friends and the three nations with many history still look to secure theirs and each others 3 MOST IMPORTANT THINGS: Food+Education+Hygene. These are directly related to every other issues including economy or health etc.So we can share knowledge? We can share ideas and improve ourselves to improve our world! 😊

India really doesn't stack up well against European nations when it comes to things such as social services, education, health, nutrition, sanitation et cetera. Hell, we don't even stack up against some of our fellow 'third-world' nations such as Vietnam and Brazil and Thailand. Then again, you've got to take into account the fact that India has a population north of 1billion, and since we're a functioning democracy of sorts, getting things done is incredibly difficult. In fact, it's something of a miracle that we haven't disintegrated into tens of different small states by now, given the mind boggling and nonpareil linguistic, cultural, societal and religious diversity. Punjabis share very little in common with Tamilians, other than some vague cultural and sartorial similarities. The nation has been run by successive groups of utterly incompetent and toothless and downright self-serving leaders. Among the populace, one hardly sees any semblance of political consciousness. So the 'why are things so bad' can be answered with 'because people don't give a damn about the society'. Which then begs the question - why is it people are so bloody apathetic? That can be answered as well - because we've always had to fend for ourselves. There's no universal healthcare, no universal education, no benefits and no social safety net. People are up to their eyes with their own troubles that they simply don't have the time or the inclination to take up political and social causes and fight for them. People often vote on religious or sectarian or tribalistic or regionalistic grounds, and the people who do run for office are as often as give the impression that we're scrapping the barrel. The highly motivated and industrious are either fleeing oversees to seek greener pastures, or they are so busy climbing up the corporate ladders that they too end up being self-involved, out-of-touch elites. Social mobility - though it's better today than it was four decades ago - isn't in full throttle and large swaths of people get left behind. This can change, but only if the country as a whole becomes less apathetic and more involved. We need a new breed of politicians - politicians who're educated and efficient, and not out-of-touch dipsticks intent solely on feathering their nests. We need leaders who know how to prioritise; I mean there's absolutely no reason why we need to have a freaking space program or an unconscionably high defence budget when millions are starving. We need a system of progressive taxation to increase the tax revenue which needs to be spent on education, health and other social services. We need to take steps to get the population under control - cap children at two. Sex education and the use of contraception needs to be promulgated, and we need more strict law enforcement. Human rights abuses need to be brought to book, and we need to wake up to the fact that maybe, just maybe, Kashmir is more trouble than it's worth, and letting it go if the Kashmiris so wish, whilst retaining Jammu and Ladakh and Leh will be a good thing overall for everyone. And for the love of god we need to make voting compulsory. It goes against the nationalistic grain, but sometimes in the near future, we're going to have to make touch choices if we want to move forward rather than remain stuck in a rut.Things can change for sure, but I'm not holding my breath. Like I said, we're an apathetic nation where people don't give a damn.
