Multistarrers have always been a cause of concern for production houses. And dealing with actors' egos and insecurities has always been a tough task. Actors of big shows like Kasautii Zindagi Kay and Kahiin To Hoga have been battling it out to get more footage in these shows. Following their footsteps are actors from TV show Mamta.

Apparently, actors Neha Mehta and Anand Suryavanshi have been giving newcomer Ajay Krish a tough time. Ajay joined the show recently but became an instant hit with the audiences. However, when all credit for an increase in TRPs of the show was given to Ajay, the lead pair Neha and Anand began to feel side-lined. Ajay had to bear the brunt of his co-stars' dislike and was chucked out of the show.

Sources on the sets say that it all began with news of Neha's involvement with Anand who is a married man. The two split soon after Ajay joined the show and Neha developed a soft corner for him instead. "But Neha and Anand continued to meet despite her relationship with Ajay," says our source.

Neha says, "I'm extremely fond of Andy (Anand Suryavanshi). He's very special. And no, Ajay and I are not an item." Neha says that she had nothing to do Ajay's ouster. "It was the channel's call. Why blame me or Anand for Ajay's ouster?"

Good 'friend' Anand cites the same saying, "I didn't know that I'm powerful enough to retain or throw out other actors from my show." Anand reveals that he knew that Ajay's ouster from the show was declared two months ago. "I'm not an insecure person. In fact, I've helped Ajay in his dialogue delivery and expressions in front of the camera." As for his alleged affair with the actress, he says, "Neha and I are very close but to say that we're dating isn't right."

Ajay Krish, the man in question has a different story to tell. "My track in the show is ending. I don't know weather Sid will be brought back or no. That is upto the producers and the channel to decide. I know that my entry helped the TRPs of the show. If this made others insecure then it's their problem," says Ajay Krish.

Does he feel that Neha and Anand played dirty with him? "I wouldn't know if they are responsible for my track ending in Mamta," he replies.

However, the newcomer agrees that politics on the sets was difficult to deal with. "A lot of games are being played on the sets of Mamta. I wouldn't like to talk about it in print. I while ago, I heard from a unit member that Andy and Neha were bitching about me. It was really disturbing. Obviously when I confronted them, they both denied it. Yet I know that someone is intentionally maligning me."
