A source tells us, "The contract had been emailed to Istanbul, where Saif was busy shooting then for Race 2. And he okayed the film through sms. He really wanted to make the film with Milan. Milan and Saif go back a long way, since Saif starred in Milan's action thriller Kachche Dhaage in the year 1999. The duo hasn't worked together since then, but Saif was keen on working with him again. So, when Milan decided to have Saif for his next project, Saif immediately jumped onto the bandwagon."
The film, which is a joint production between producer Bhushan Kumar and Milan is slated to be a wholesome entertainer with a strong romantic angle appealing to all types of audiences, with music playing a significant role in the project. Bhushan confirms, "Since the Kachche Dhaage days, Saif wanted to work with Milan again. He read about Milan's and my new project together. He loved the concept and showed keen interest in doing the film. We didn't even have to approach him. We just sent him the contract and he immediately confirmed it through an SMS. This actually shows his confidence and faith in us." Bhushan also clears the air stating, "The film is not a superhero film. It's a wholesome entertainer, with a comedy angle to it.
