Wasn't Paridhi being unnecessarily snobby?

I have noticed this in previous episodes too. Whenever Paridhi mentions that she has to cook, wash dishes, and look over the children, the way she says it makes it sound like a servant's job which is too benath her. I empathize with Paridhi that she is hurt over losing her job, because any person would be, but she can be such a snob sometimes and I hate the sort of career-oriented women who think housework is beneath them, or that women who do housework are old-fashioned and regressive. Paridhi might as well say it that she has no respect for Vidhi who works in the house all day, because she doesn't. If she did, she wouldn't speak like this.

If Paridhi wants to get her job back, she should make Prateik understand that she walked into this marriage thinking she'd be able to work, and if he doesn't let he she can walk right back out. There is a way of making Prateik understand that he can't take advantage of her, but she doesn't have to be downright insulting and snobby to do that. Also, didn't Paridhi know anything about the Scindiyas before arriage Prateik?😕 I find it hard to believe that she knew nothing about them being "old-fashioned" in her terms.

I think the smart thing Paridhi and her parents should have done was talk to the Scindias about her work before the marriage, so that Mr. and Mrs. Scindiya would understand that their youngest DIL is interested in a career after marriage, and they don't make such a huge issue out of it afterwards.

Because of this, I believe that Paridhi is somewhat responsible for her predicament as well. She hastily married Prateik without finding out anything about his family, and neither did her parents. Now she is becomin bitter and I'm afraid she'll go Bua's way if something isn't done soon. I know it's about time Prateik looked after Paridhi, and I'm not endorsing his weakness in front of his parents, but Paridhi is also responsible for her situation because she never talked to her in-laws about having a career and then lied to them afterwards.

Both Paridhi and Pretik have shortcomings and if they don't work them out, their marriage is bound to fail.

I don't think she necessarily has to wait for Mr. Scindia, because she has a right to continue with her career as long as she and Prateik agree on it, but she should be such a snob and blast Prateik in front of her aunt. That won't help her relationship and Prateik won't forget it easily.

Yes, some of the problem lies in that too. While majority of Paridhi's frustration is because of Prateik's indifference to her interests, she too is not ready to change anything about her former lifestyle. Put her job aside. She's always been pampered by her parents for being an only child, so she's used to a very easy and independent lifestyle, which she has not found in the Scindiya's house since they have a large family with children and grandchidlren. Paridhi has to learn to adhere to their lifestyle as well, or else she'll have a lot more problems in the future.

I agree... bt the way she ws insulting her in-laws in front of her aunt ws wrong... i mean u cnt discuss family issues with someone. She indirectly insulted her hubby in front of her aunt which ws really rude...

Pratheik loved her and also knew she loved her career. So either he should have told her before marrying that in my house without my parents permission you cannot work. How would she know before marriage how partheik's parents are ?

I can see pari's frustation and she has been saying that for a long time to pratheik now !!!!!

I completely agreed with you Janaki...infact now 4 me paridhi's char has become almost negative.She was totally insensitive towards partiek in the last epi.I wonder is that called a love marriage,where u dont respect each other?????
