It's Testing Time For New Gopi Bahu Says Rupal

Rashmi Sharma's Saath Nibhaana Saathiya ruled the roost on Star Plus with its central character of Gopi Bahu, played by Giaa Maanek becoming a house hold name. The show suffered a setback when Giaa had to be replaced due to unavoidable circumstances, following which Devoleena Bhattacharjee got to play the coveted role.

It was a known fact that Devoleena was entering fierce waters and had to make a name for herself as Gopi Bahu, and that too in quick time!! But now with the ratings of the show taking a dip, we could not avoid raising the question all over again!!

Without much ado, we caught up with Rupal Patel. who essays the role of Kokila in the show, and she averred, "It's testing time for the new Gopi bahu. Even though we have got a good response for the show after the replacement, it is important for the audience to accept her."

Talking about her rapport with both the girls, Rupal said, "Well, I would say, my rapport with Giaa was great as we had spent a lot of time together on the sets. So it will obviously take time for me to gel with Devoleena. Though we have started interacting, it will take time for us to build a new bonding."

We too hope the new Gopi Bahu/em> and Kokila strike an amazing rapport both on and off the screen!!

I wish star cast of sns was allowed to speak their true feelings then the whole replacement of Gia would not have been so surgical. Viewers are humans who wanted to see that their stars are humans who have humane relationships with their costars. In off screen clips they showed so often that Rucha and Gia were great friends because it suited their agenda to make viewers watch their show more but then they replace Gia in most unfeeling manner and never showed any human feeling from their stars about Gia. She was wiped out like she never existed.

At my work one person was fired for A ethical mistake and still they never stopped us from meeting her during lunch hour at work. It was one mistake she did which went to wrong channels but she is human and we still liked her. So we did not start avoiding her or shunning her and yes she was replaced and we accepted the replacement. In fact they both are my ace book friends. So viewers are fair humans whom the channels try to exploit but eventually they will loose. By the way the replacement was a very capable individual too and we valued her skills.

I agree suk this is her diplomatic way of saying that even after one month there is no chemistry because of devs poor acting skills. I wish rupal was more honest as she looked more dabang in her off screen clips.

But I hope trp goes further down to the point that we will hear some honesty from sns crew and cast.
