Ladies, Gentlemen & Shaun -
I bring you a special report from inside the Modi compound. Seems that PETA (people for the ethical treatment of animals) have given the "Most Animal Friendly Show" award to SNS and the residents of MM.
Apparently over the course of this show's run there has been many animals who have gotten jobs by playing small bits in the serial. Also, some animals have been used during romantic tracks to bring the couples closer or push them apart.

THE ROOSTER
- Rashi convinces Gopi that this rooster was Ahem in spirit. The rooster got away and Gopi ran after it yelling "Emjee, Emjee" (Editor's note - this was a low moment for the show *shakes head*) Ahem suddenly appears in front of her and she's all happy, he has his usual scowl.š¤
THE SNAKE
- Urmi brings a snake to the temple and of course it gets out and blocks Ahem's path. While he stands frozen in fear, our heroine Gopi bravely grabs the snake and flings it to the side, thus saving her precious Emjee. She was later rewarded for her bravery when he yelled at her for saving him, claiming she wanted the praise
THE COCKROACH
- This was while Gopi was still sleeping on the floorš”. One night she saw a roach and she screamed and jumped up on the bed. Ahem picks up his slipper to kill the roach but Gopi stops him, he of course gets mad with heršShe goes back to lay on the floor, but poor thing looks too terrified to sleep.
THE RAT & THE COWARDLY LION
- The rat - during the education track Rashi destroys Gopi's books and pretends a rat did it. Koki smells a rat in Rashi's story and gives her the cage to trap the rat...too bad Koki did not get a big enough cage to hold Rashi.
-The cowardly lion - Rashi & Urmi dresses up as characters during Gopi's birthday after spending the day making her cry and feel like she is the cause for her parent's deathš”
THE PIGEON
- There are lots of pigeons in this show, too many for me to get pics of, but here is one such pigeon that led to GoHem romance. This pigeon was wounded during kite flying and of course Gopi bonded with the pigeon and started talking and feeding it. This led to Ahem staring at her in amazement. At the mandir the pigeon flies on his shoulder and he got scared and wanted Gopi to remove it. She reached for it, it moved and she accidentally kisses himšYea, this was an awkward kiss, but we SNS fans were happy to see this rather than the usual yelling and arm wrenching.š
THE DOG (#1)
- Who could forget Kinjal Didi and the dog, actually most of us would like to forget this track. It was another failed Kalakari scheme of UrKi.š¤¢But the dog was cute.š
THE CAT
- Finally when Jiggy was about to get some action in the bedroom a damn cat interrupted. It was another failed SR of RaJi and one I will never forgive the CVs forš”. That cat was HUGE, but it was fun to see Jiggy scream and jump off the bedš
THE DOG (#2)
- The most recent animal entry into the MM was this adorable little guy. He was used to bring GoHem together, show the softer side of Ahem and led to the accident track, which led to the confession track. Yea, this dog was the most important animal used so far in SNS.
Finally PETA decided to use these two handsome guys in their India PETA promotional ads. Normally most PETA ads involve naked celebrities but our guys did not want the women of India to faint so they kept some clothes on.
