The show opened with a sequence
which was about Balraj Choudhary
(Raj Zutshi) shooting an apple placed
on little Trishna's head. The scene was
inspired from Sholay, as they were
building Balraj's character a la Gabbar
Singh. Then there was the scene of a
pregnant Padmini (Pallavi Purohit) trying to escape the goons while fleeing
away from Motihari (where Balraj
Choudhary resides) and reaching
Mumbai with their daughter Trishna.
The goons follow her there and while
she is running away from them, she
lands up at a Ganpati mandap and escapes the goons with gulaal on her
face. This sequence was inspired from
Vidya Balan's climax scene in Kahaani. The title for the show is shot
along a melodramatic Sholay theme
and even the background score is inspired from the
movie.
