usually until they continue chemotherapy, hair loss is inevitable...usually those who are doing numerous rounds with strong chemotherapy will lose ALL their hair until its stopped...and then after that, depending on how well their body heals and the toxins from the chemo goes from their body..they will have hair growth...
it really depends on the patient, the type of cancer, the type of treatment (chemo levels) and the health of the patient before the cancer...its all very variable
This is fictional so difficult to say but generally with blood cancer - chemo tends to be aggressive intially and then steroids so as mentioned above once chemo stops and body starts to heal plus if cancer stops spreading!

quick background: chemotherapy works to kill cells that divide rapidly and uncontrolably (this is cancer, cancer cells have lost the ability to contain their division)...chemo can't target JUST cancer cells, they target all cells...the reason why chemo causes hair loss is because chemo affects cells that divide rapidly, so this includes those with a high turn over rate like hair cells and stomach cells (which is why cancer patients also experience nausea, vomiting and no appetite)
