It's more pathetic because had the tables been reversed by now there would've been an uproar everywhere including from us!! Consent is not and cannot be gender specific.. and no one deserves it.. not because of any other faults they may have either.. and marital rape even more so!! There's no justification for such shamelessness. Even if Armaan was terrible, which he isn't, but that's not the point, he never deserved it. No one deserves to be treated like that.

Geetanjali believed what she wanted to believe and took something from Armaan. Just because you're married, it doesn't mean you can do what you want with your spouse. They have feelings, they have a choice.

I do hope it isn't left open ended, but in both scenarios, Geetanjali's disgusting behaviour shouldn't be justified.

Even pre- marriage, she gave a sleeping Armaan a kiss. He woke up feeling terribly uncomfortable and why wouldn't he? She's invading his personal space and boundaries. Even after marriage, she's constantly tried to kiss him, because she believes that being his wife, she has the right to do whatever she wants to him, husband's consent be damned.

All of that was already horrible, but the stunt she pulled now has crossed all forms of decency. If the marital rape happened, a boundary was crossed. If it didn't, she tried to cross a massive line and then lied about it. Either way, she doesn't care about her husband's feelings that she supposedly loves. Heinous behaviour either way.

Geetanjali from the very start knew what Armaan had no feelings towards her. She herself had admitted she is helping Maira out of her own will and Armaan isn't giving her any umeed.

From wanting to be a mother figure to a child, to trying to kill her. What a downfall the character had. Manipulation, blackmailing, crossing boundaries, taking advantage of a man who is in inebriated state to attempting a full fledged murder, to gain what she wants.

Emotionally blackmailing a child against having what she likes, asking her to lie, make the child lock her own mother, inshort using the child's attachment or care towards her for her own purpose. Once the kid she claimed to love accepted her own mother, she dint even care to turn back when the kid approached to speak to her. Only to return back to scare the hell out of the kid. And now attempting to murder her because she now thinks her as a hindrance to her new obsession.

Armaan has been clear and has made it clear in 101 words that he has no feelings towards her. She very well accepted to marry Armaan stating she knew what Armaan is doing is because of Mairas wish. Despite everything been clear she tried crossing the boundaries by trying to kiss him while he was asleep. Blackmailing the man to marry her, trying to claim rights on him when he has made it clear that he isn't interested in her to committing marital r*pe when he wasnt in his senses.

@bold this........when dkp doesn't known to address certain matters why touch them??? Any socially sensitive matters have always been made a mockery. Infertility, trauma, surrogacy and now martial r*pe. They go to any extent and then not care to address that when things don't work out. The only solution they see is leave the matter unaddressed and jump to next set of BS. Why touch matters when you have absolutely no idea how to handle them.
