mafa kar de Naku me ummh late... woh kiya hai.. you know...
ok have to say... fantastic post title... very catchy... then I read your take and back dostoon ke bhi. I must confess with a degree of embarassment,that I cannot recall references to Jagtap dada JJM2...
Still in my opinion specific tasks were assinged to these two men of wisdom in Dutta's live .
Jagtap was specific to healing Dutta's emotional wounds , till he could find peace within himself and be born again as a new man.
Mahadev, stood for the presence of a diety with divine powers one that would perform miracles in which humans would believe and praise the victory of virtue over vice... hence the restoration of Dutta's partial blindness and his reclaiming his home and family from the likes of Kala and chaskar..
So in my opinion Naku both characters were approriately used in the story for relevant reasons..
