If chemistry is indeed at the basis of love while trust is at the basis of friendship, then is it a better idea to marry for friendship then for love? After all, with the passage of years, chemsitry may fade. Trust,on the other hand, normally only grows with time.

Chemistry may be needed to begin the love process, but love is based on complete faith in a person. If Ashtosh really loved Nidhi he would trust her feelings and instincts. He would not doubt her. I think Ashtosh was drawn to Nidhi and charmed by her, but right now I wouldn't call it real love because he doesn't value her perceptions. He doesn't trust her. Nidhi completely loves Ashtosh. She was willing to give in to all his needs, wants, and beliefs because she has complete faith in him. Maybe after finding out the truth, Ashtosh will regret how he has treated Nidhi and change his feelings towards her so that he has complete faith...but he really needs to do some heavy apologizing and graveling. He has blundered big time!!!! I hope Nidhi doesn't give in too easily!

So true..the sad truth is Ashutosh's feelings have not trascended beyond infatuation and physical attraction despite his advanced years...it is an older man's fascination with a young girl..absolute trust and faith, which ought to be the cornerstones of the relationship, are yet to grow...it is a rather unequal relationship...one hopes that Ashutosh's emotions will make the transition at least after this...he will recognize and reciprocate Nidhi's absolute love and trust!

if BB succeeds in patching up AshMal and Ashu allows Mallika back into his life then it can be concluded that he doesn't and never did actually love Nidhi...it was just infatuation/desire jo ab cure hogaya...i mean no sane man will allow the person who tried to kill his wife again back into their life...forget KP's grey...i will show him what RED means...
