~Episode 104~

Scene 1:

Present

"Oh no...Maan ab Geet aur BSK ko kaise bachayega??? Nanu...Kya Maan aur Geet kabhi nahi milenge???" asks the little girl sadly.

The old man smiles again...picks up the little girl, and wipes her tears, then he kooks at the other kids who also looked equally sad...

"Kya Maan ko koi apni Geet se alag kar sakta hai???"

The kids all shake their heads in a no...

The old man takes a deep sigh and continues...

Scene 2:

Maan opens his eyes...the sudden flash of light hurts his eyes. He tried to get up, but his hands, his legs were all tied. He could vaguely make out some figures, standing at some distance from him. It was a huge room...derelict and dark, except for the fuzzy lamp.

"Geet...kahan hai Geet??" he shouts with whatever energy was left in him.

They don't show him Geet, but his son Guru, his baby, lying on the floor. Maan loses his mind, he crawls on the floor to reach his child, lying motionless. His heart is ripped open, when he sees a tattered BSK, bleeding from head.

"Guru...beta...aankhein kholo...Dekho Pappa hain aapke paas...beta ankhein kholo...," he tries desperately to wake him, and in desperation he turns to those men and shouts, "Kya kiya tumne mere bete ko??? Mera haath kholo...I want to see him...KHOLO!!!!"

"Ha-ha-hah!!!"laugh the goons, mocking his state, "Tera beta abhi marra nahi hai...par iski jaan kuch hi der ki mehmaan hai...Agar isse jaldi hospital nahi pahunchaya toh yeh...humesha humesha ke liye gaya..."

"Nahi...usse kuch nahi hoga...tum jo kahoge main woh karoonga...mere bete ko chod do..."

"Tere bete ko to hum chod denge...par uske liye tujhe nahi teri patni ko humari baat maanni padegi."

"Kya??? Geet??? Kahan hai Geet??? Dekho...usse door raho...Main tumhe chodoonga nahi...GEEET!!!GEET!!!!"

"Chillao...chillao...kuch nahi hoga...Tumhari Geet...yahan hai...humare paas..." they drag Geet and throw her at him.

"Geet...tum??? Guru ko lekar bhag jao yahan se...jao Geet."

But fear grips him, when Geet shakes her head and starts crying...

"Nahi Geet...tumhe jaana hoga...tumhe meri kasam...jao..."

"Woh nahi jayegi...kyunki woh jaanti hai ki tumhari aur tumhare bete ka jeevan ab usske haath main hai," comes a voice, from a man emerging from the door.

"Tum??? Tumhari himmat kaise hui??? Chod do Geet ko DEV!!!"

"Tsk...tsk...tsk...Kitna bebas hai aaj Mr Maan Singh Khurana...aur mujhe tumhe aisa dekh kar bahut khushi ho rahi hai...Joh tum dono ne mere saath kiya hai...uske comparison main toh yeh kuch bhi nahi...Kyun Geet?" he grabs her hand...

"DEV!!!" screams Maan.

"Ssshhh...chillao mat...jitna chillaoge...tumhare bete ko bacha pana utna ho mushkil ho jayega..."

"Dev...chod do humein...Mujhe mere bete ke paas jaane do...woh kuch bol kyun nahi raha...tumne toh kaha tha...woh...woh...theekh hai..." she tries to go to Guru, but Dev pushes her and she falls on the floor.

"Don't cry Geet, arre aaj toh bahut khushi ka din hai...aaj humari shaadi ka din hai."

"DEV?" gasps Geet in horror.

A shocked Maan tries to free himself...but in vain. The goons kick him and torture him. Geet cries and begs Dev to stop the torture.

"Dev please stop this...Maan tumhara bhai hai."

"Bhai...huh!!! He was never my brother...isne mujhse sab kuch cheen liya hai...He's my enemy and Geet tum...tum toh bahut special ho...tum hi toh ho woh jiske pyaar main paagal ho kar mere so called bhai ne mujhe jail bhijwa diya...Bechare...ab main tumhe isse cheen kar...isse apna badla loonga. Chalo Geet...Pandit ji aate hi honge...chalo chalo ansoo pocho...aaj humari shaadi hai..."

"DEV...paagal ho gaye ho tum...Geet sirf Maan ki hai...sirf iss janam main hi nahi...balki har janam main Maan hi mere pati honge...Main sirf Maan ki hoon...aur joh tum soch rahe ho aisa kabhi nahi hoga...kabhi nahi...mere jeete ji toh kabhi nahi."

"Geet...Geet...Geet...kitni bewakoof ho tum...apne emotions par control karo...aur dimag se socho...Shaadi toh tumhe karni padegi...nahi toh...tumhara Maan iss duniya se chala jayega...aur agar Maan hi nahi raha toh phir Geet ka kya hoga???"

"Nahi tum aisa nahi kar sakte..."

"Kar sakta hoon Geet...ab baton main time mat waste karo...tumhare bete ko hospital le jaana hai...aur Maan usse zinda dekhna chahti ho toh..."

Geet pleads but the devil in Dev is deaf to all her pleads...

"Mujhe ek baar Maan ke paas jaane do...apne bacche ko dekhne do...please."

"Theekh hai...but make it fast..."

...

Geet rushes to Guru...lifts him in her lap and kisses him...

"Beta aapko kuch nahi hoga...Mamma aapko kuch nahi hone degi."

She then goes to Maan...lifts his head and places it on her lap...

She wipes her tears and leans to kiss his face...

She tears a piece from her duppatta and ties it around his head to stop the bleeding...

He groans in his unconscious state...

"Maan" she cries...

"Geet...Geet..." he mumbles in his semi-conscious state...holding her hand.

She holds him close to her and hugs him tight...

Dev comes and pulls her apart from Maan...

"Chalo enough of this drama..."

She gets up...this time...there was no plead in her eyes...no tears...There was a strange kind of confidence in her eyes...a faith...which disturbed Dev.

"Oh...toh tum tayyar ho...Pandit bhi aa gaya...Geet tumhe Maan se cheen kar apna badla loonga..."

"Galat ho tum Dev...Geet ko Maan se koi nahi cheen sakta...kyun ki Maan Geet ke liye Babaji ka doosra roop hai...Mujhe Maan main apna Rab dikhta hai. Aur tum mujhe mere Rab se alag nahi kar sakte...Koshish kar ke dekh lo...haar jaoge Dev haar jaoge."

"Accha kaun bachayega tumhe...Maan...joh khud tumahere Babaji ke paas pahunchane wala hai...ya tumhara yeh beta...Who will save you Geet???"

"Babaji raksha karenge meri aur mere parivaar ki...samjhe tum...Mere Babaji raksha karenge meri..."

"Huh tumhare Babaji...Bewakoof...bechari sadme se paagal ho gayi hai."

He grabs her hand and pulls her towards the mandap arranged for the marriage...

On the way Geet also sees Adi, but the next moment he was not there...

Scene 3:

"Bachon khaana lag gaya...chalo neeche chalo...aur aap bhi chaliye Pappa," comes in the voice of a woman in her thirties.

The children get up unwillingly...not wanting to leave the story at such a point...The old man consoles them...and goes down with them...
